I mean c'mon, Raiden is 1 of the best if not thee best in the MK series, so how can they take him out OR AT LEAST! NOT CONFIRM HIM!.

I never liked raiden in any of the games he was in. I never played as him. I dont really care if hes in or not. "HOW CAN KITANA NOT BE IN IT?"

What the fuck? Wow, you're WAY behind on the times. Nearly all of the characters have been confirmed, and Raiden is one of them.

It's Jax and Cyrax that aren't in it I don't think. Expect Cyrax to be killed by Sektor or someone, and Jax may be killed by Mavado or this new Black Dragon woman.

I know one thing, they better not give these two some chump, sucker, punk death scenes. Especially Jax since he's a classic.

That's true, unfortunately! Raiden is my fave MK character and not having him confirmed is a huge blow! He should be in this game and if he's not i'm going to be pissed off!

The worst blow is that the MK Team plan on killing him off in the MKD intro! If they do, pissed won't describe my anger!

u cant kill raiden no way.....he has guided the team for so long....
classic classic charecter with out raiden there is no plot or pupose for the story......


and if they ever kill off scorpion...........i will pull a fatality on boon

Raiden didn't appear in the MK3/UMK3 and it wasn't dead, by effects of storyline, could well not appear in the MKDeception without being dead...

I think Raiden surely will be in mk 6
I mean look to the fact: he is a god (can't be killed)
he guides the good ones
and he is in every mk game: mk 1, mk 2, mk 3, mk 4
and mk 5!!!!
Its not a mk game without Raiden, Sub-zero and Scorpion

Raiden was the storyteller in MK3, even if he wasn't a playable character. He was still alive and would return...But to actually to kill him in MKD, NO WAY!

Raiden will be in MK:D even though it hasn't been confirmed. Raiden is my fav. right with Scorpion. Raiden has been around too long and having the Dragon King return and maybe Raiden does know who or what it is. He's a God, a leader to the mortals and the only "true" savior of earth. I think that we may see Raiden die in saving them from the Dragon King.

if raiden had to spend some time in the netherealm being tortured by quan chi or evevn whats left of shinnok or kahn or shang..someone that hates him but is in the netherealm


it'd be great to finally see someone give raiden some punishment

and who better than 2 people that really hate him?

I dont think Rayden will return as a playable character. I reckon he will be there to watch over the earth fighters but not take part. Like his role in the first Mortal Kombat Movie. He didnt fight in it, just guided the warriors. I think he will be ther, nut not as a palyable character.
Coz he's a God doesnt mean they can't kill him. Shinnok was an Elder God too and he is dead.

Now, I agree with some of this and some i dont.

1. Rayden has set the standards for MK and probably not be killed off dude to he is a fan favorite.

2. I beleive his role if not confirmed, will be to watch or return to status of Elder God.

3. I mean cmon hes not THAT important though ( even though hes cool) his role wasnt that great in DA...though neither was subs

4. and for that guy up there i DOUBT scorp would be killed off because hes ed boons favorite char.

Well Scorpion cant really be killed can he. He's dead lol. Although I suppose his human body can be killed. But he would just enter someone else. But I wish they would get rid of him. He's a waste of a good character slot. His story si becoming so monotonous. Revenge, revenge, revenge. Blah, Blah, Blah.

Nah scorpion may all be about revenge but the tone changes. See first of he goes after sub zero (classic) and kills him after the tourney..then he finds the brother and spares him and goes into hell. When Mk4 arises he comes and almost kills the new sub and then sends him and quanchi back to hell. Then after than he tortures quan chi until he escapes and gets killed by him in da in the begining. And at the very end is thrown in the soulnado..its not really boring and i think that he has the greatest storyline so far..but im really excited about ermac! (btw this is just a reveiw of what ive gathered)

Scorpion never killed the younger Sub-Zero. Get your facts straight.

I CANT RESIST, RAIDEN DIES BY THE DRAGON KING LOL, IN THE INTRO, AND KHAN gets up after his ambush and is still alive. smoke and subzero meet each other for the reunion. DA stays together. quan chi is rumored to be stuck in the santrum still.

repeat , raiden is dead. LOL
