Kahn was killed. More over, he has been the boss in about half the games so far. He's been played to death, and is now dead. Let's keep it that way.

Shang tsung and Quan Chi are lesser villains and will never be cooler then Kahn. And the reason he wasn't in MK4 has NOTHING TO DO WITH HIM BEING LAME BECAUSE HE'S NOT!!!!!! They wanted to introduce more people which is cool. Despite all that Kahn is still the greatest of MK villains

So many times? I wouldn't put it that way because he wass only in 2 games fighting the Earth realm. Shao Kahn is much cooler than Quan Chi. Quan Chi maybe new but Kahn is still the man.

How the hell can you have shinnok above shao Kahn? That's adding insult to injury because shinnok sucks badly. And you can't count the Dragon King because he has not turned up yet.

When you think about it, if Kahn is such a loser, how did he conquer Outworld, Edenia, the Astral Planes of Shokan, Zaterra, etc? Remember, hhe conquered a shitload of realms before he even got to Earthrealm; just because there was one guy that could beat him, that makes him a loser?

And besides, it took the combined effort of the Deadly Alliance to slay Kahn...and Kahn almost won.

who's to say how much was in outworld when the DK ruled it

kahn might have taken over edinia and nitara's world

I think there is a way for Khan to come back. I took some quiz thing to see how much i know about MK. one of the questions was who was the new ruler of the Netherealm, and the answer was Shinnok. if Shinnok finds Khan's torturing soul somewhere, he could possibly give it physical form, since he's the new ruler of the Netherealm. then they can decide to go to either Outworld or Earthrealm. thats how i think Khan can return anyway.

Shinnok WAS the ruler of the Netherealm, the last ruler, that is, to our knowledge. He was destroyed in MK4, body, soul and all. He's no longer the ruler of the Netherealm, if anything he's suffering in it and as helpless as Shao Kahn.

So if there is fifty more MK games, you'd want Shao Kahn to be boss for fifty more times? I mean, I'm all for continuity, but damn.

It could be possible if they make some sort of merging of reiko,ermac and shao. How , well reiko and ermac had almost identical outfits and if its shao's soul in ermac's body giving rise to reiko. Just a thought only.

In MK4 or Gold, whichever you play, Quan Chi said "If is wasn't for me, you'd still be a tortured soul, rotting in the pits of the Netherealm!" Why would shinnok torture and rot in a realm that HE was ruling? That doesn't make sense. In MK:DA it never mentioned Shinnok at the time, so for all we know he could have been a wandering soul separated from his body, and he found and rejoined with it. Since he used to be an elder god, he couldn't have lost his power as much as we were told Quan Chi did, so he somehow took over the netherealm sometime after Quan Chi, Scorpion, Moloch, and Drahmin left. We were never told that he was completely wiped from existance, just that he was defeated.
