Well, he is very hard. It took me maybe 30 to 40 trys before i beat him.I keep exiting and entering the battle, untill i got my best character (liu kang). I keep doing the 12 hit kombo that i figured out with him, untill i won. Any time he would block, i would shoot a low fire ball to knock him down, then he would fall down ,and i would repeat my kombo.

It took me like five times to beat Scorpion. I challenged alot of characters in Konquest mode, that is why It did not take me long to defeat Scorpion. Good challenges for you is Liu Kang in Edenia, and Scorpion in Edenia.
Play practice mode with your favorite character and learn his moves by heart, try and memorize all of his or her combos and learn how to switch styles with ease. Then go and try and go after Scorpion again.

I just re-enterered the fight like 20 times until I got Raiden. I just used his big damage combo over and over again, and when he got to close whipped out back and triangle. He rarely blocked or used a breaker. When he did, I just ate it and kept repeating the combo. It took about 3 tries before I beat him.

I beat him on the second try with Dairrus. I just let him come to me, kept hitting him with combos until he fell in battle. Dairrus you can fake out the computer with his different moves.

I beat him on about the 28th try he was tough.
Well this is what you do. Approach him slowly until you get pretty close and then move back quickly and he will make a move AT THAT MOMENT YOU STRIKE. And keep repeating that process. I forget who I did it with. But you HAVE to get close so that he gets caught up in his attack but it fails. Also do side steps when he does his spear.

ok this way you can beat him with a flawless vicktory,use millena then f,f,0 four times then R1 2 times then repeat until he's dead he will not block 1 time...

At the end of Konquest? Why is everyone saying they used different characters to beat Scorpion? I thought you can only use Shujinko. I tried to beat Scorpion like 40 times and he never turned into anyone different, I was always Shujinko.

yes you can only be shujinko when fighting scorpion at the end of konquest. To beat him I just kept blocking until he let up then got in a combo or two. then repeat

i was trying to get Ashrah or Li Mei cause they have a lot of combos. but i got and used Tanya instead. it took me a while to beat him (thanks to her Drill Attack and the Uppercut )

For clarification for those who are still baffled a tad... you're getting confused between the Scorpion battle at the end (to officially complete Conquest) and the super hard 300% damage and healing Scorpion in Edenia (to get Shujinko's Spear Throw).
I don't know which one they're talking about now, but the Scorpion in Edinia is hella hard.

here is the easiest way, hoestly, i bet you can beat him in 5 tries at the most....
it took me awhile to do it but i figuredout what to do and heres it,, it only took me two tries,,,,
wait till youg et baraka and just hit his foward, foward triangle special and just keep repeating it.... cause he doesnt block really,,, and jsut keep repeatin that,,, i bet you beat in in the first few tries,,,, it took me so long with the other guys but just keep going untill your baraka and do that special,,,,

No people.... The Easiest way to beat scropion and anyone in Konquest mode for that matter ( I don't know why people don't think of this ) Go to options and put the game on NOVICE. And yes, the difficulty options do work for Konquest mode...... I beat him in one try.

Yes, that is true if you do put it on novice it does work, but i think the easiest character to beat him with is def. gotta be baraka and just use his special

with skill
but you could use BARAKA
statistics(my own ones) shows that the caracters are a little sensitive
to him

u ll kick so easy scorpion kick from above 3 times after go and catch him move after 3 times kick and same thing...

Beat him second try on whatever diffaculty the game is on when u start it. funny i can do that but i rarely beat people i play in person. my only tip is ALOT of side steping and then useing whatever move L1 (oN PS2) Is. I do have to say he is Fairly hard and it was a tedious match. but still it's nowere near as hard as it is later when u try to beat him in Edenia to get one of shujinkos moves. which i have still yet to get :(

I have found a fairly simple way of beating him.
Use Kabal and use rapid dash attack to daze him then use your hookswords then use the following Combo. On Ps2 it's Square, Square Back+Square.
