I think smoke will be completly made out of smoke. It will be a cloud of smoke, but it will be in the shape of a body.

smoke being like just smoke (i don't wanna piss you all off) just doesn't make sense smoke isn't smoke, smoke is a human that can make and control smoke he regained his humanity when he was fighting sub-zero in mk3. smoke is not a robot he is a cyborg (cybernetic organism) so he is part human part machine so now the he has his soul back he could remove the helmet and some of the armor and dorn part of his ninja costume again giving him a unique look compared to the other ninjas he can still make smoke so he retains his status as the smoke ninja h could fight with sub-zero he would probably have his robot moves and some new moves as well as some of his human moves

i don't think that human smoke was a clone of scorpion i believe that smoke was being trained to kill scorpion so the lin kuei tought him scorpions moves (the sharai ryu specealized in moves and majics that can be used by any skilled fighter) but the younger sub-zero beat him to the punch by killing scorpion so smoke became obselete so the lin kuei made him a....
