He doesn't. DK can't compare to Goro. Goro was too original, to impressionable. DK is just another giant, over-the-top big monster. At least he's better than Moloch and, thank goodness, the MK:DA "bosses" Quan Chi and Shang Tsung.

The DK is NOT original in terms of look. He looks too much like your average medithisthingisdisabled villain. He has a bit of Cobra Commander, Reptile, Shao Kahn, Ogre (I think that's his name) from Tekken and Shinnok (the face).

What makes the Dragon King so cool is his backstory and amazing 3D graphics. Shao Kahn has the former, give him the latter (revamped 3D look) and he will pwn the DK.

The Dragon King looks like he could tear Goro limb from limb and still have enough energy to mortally wound Kintaro and slightly bruise Moloch. Extremely badass. I mean, even Raiden couldn't dent this guy. He's like the Unicron of Mortal Kombat. Maybe that means the power of the Matrix (ie: Darrius) is all than can defeat him ;)

It's just my opinion, but wouldn't it be better to compare the DK to Shao Kahn or something. Goro is a sub-boss, the DK is not.

I just don't see the logic in comparing them two. Goro should be compared with other sub-bosses and the DK with other bosses. Cause they clearly both hold different positions in the MK realm.

Personally, I think that the Dragon King is lining up to be one of the best bosses ever! Just look at that move he did to Shujinko in the trailer! He lifted him about 10 feet in the air, then just dropped him! Shao Kahn could never do that. Goro could never do that. Out with the old, in with the new, I say!

Well if Noob Saibot can kill Goro, I'm sure the Dragon King would have very little trouble killing Goro single handedly.
