While in konquest you train with different fighters (seemingly Deception only characters) as you did in MK:DA's konquest learning all the simple to challenging moves. Then in random battles you will morph into learned characters.
Not in regular kombat though. He has all his own moves and you must unlock all of his copied specials in the krypt by finding ying yangs in konquest ie: sub zero's freeze (which I still dont have yet : p).
