Any time I play MK3/MKT and get caught in a combo, I instinctively hold forward + block to try and breaker out of it. Good job, MKD team, you've imprinted the MKD engine into my memory forever! Pretty hard to do considering how old school of an MK fan I am.

I do the same thing in any fighting game now, lol. I think they are great.

same here. I get a lil upset when I can't break out too, even tho I realized its not in the game.
0
I never block. I only use breakers.

Breakers is a thing something MK players wish they had since MK3. I haven't played MK: Deception in a while. As I start playing MK: DA again these days I find myself pressing the breaker combonation alot. A good idea , but I would have liked if it were like KI's. Usefull stuff.

It is usually just an automatic thing when the opponent goes into a combo. I do not even need to try.

LOL! The funny thing is that I did that when playing MK: DA! lol....yeah, the combo breaker system is a good idea, imo. 3 combo breakers per match is a good number because you have to use them wisely and they didn't give too many so that it wouldn't be too cheap.

What's funnier is that when I was playing Tekken 5 for the first time today, I tried to break out of a combo by 'attempting' to do a combo breaker.
Needless to say, it didn't work.

ya i went back to playing MKDA one night cuz i missed playing with Reptile. well i tried to do the combo breaker like 10 times on accident. i really do like it. makes it so much better. but still they didnt need to take out the tuants, power-ups, and impales. with those still in every thing would still work fine with the controls. so i really dont understand y those were taken out....
o and forgot bout the reversals and the space making move when u move backwards. makeing space like sliding back with Sub-Zero could be very helpful in MKD. the tuants tho i dont care about since they never really worked for me. every time id try to tuant id be left open and get attacks.

Lmao this is the truth...
Whenever I play the mame MK's I'm always trying to break the combos
I guess the breakers are better than I fiirst thought, as you sure get dependant on em...

lmao.. i so did this the other day while playing umk3... i kept doing it combo after combo.. the first few times i was like
y is the combo not breaking..lol
but i must say, there should be a un limited amount of them.. they should have them like killer instinct.. were u have to hit the right button to break the combo being done to u..
i also dont like it linked w/ the block button, as i waste a few by just blocking and attemping to couter..

his taunts work, just not as much health is regained.
and he is powerful, but a bit hard to use though.
anway, it's sad that i was trying to do a breaker myself on mk1... (-_-) and i was like in my head "damn it! dont do it again idiot!"... after i said that in my head i did it again... (-_-)... it took me a while to get used to the no-neijin aswell.

dude you must be the only person in the world with tekken 5. let me guess, your uncle works for namco. J/K
anyway, id rather have a good reversal system than combo breakers.

i dont like Havic cuz i dont like any of his styles. his weapon has no combos. and i dont like Snack or that other one in MKDA with Chi and Tsung and dont like Chi and Tsung in MKDA so its only natural that i dont like Havic since he ahs 3 styles i dont like at all. hmmmmm.....

HA! Yeah, I totally agree...I've been trying to do the breakers when I play UMK3 lately too...I dont like the breaker system in MKD personally, I think it was very poorly conceived, but it is useful, and it has been imprinted on my memory now.
