I agree with you, ermac22002. I, personally hope that he does'nt (for sake of originality, and freshness), but, if Liu Kang does come back, that would be a better scenario, than being reencarnated into Kano. Since Shang Tsung is the keeper of the souls, they could say that he now owns Liu Kang's soul. And, the only way to play as Liu would be to play as Shang, and morph into him.

shang morphs into liu is the only way i want liu back but thats only who shang can morph into and its a special move and liu can have his own moves.

what if you were playable as a badly decomposed and decapitated Lui Kang who was granted the power to fight in all MK tournaments because he defeated Tsung in MK1, even if it mean returning to the dead just for the tournaments

It would be awesome if, at the end of MK6, in which Shang Tsung would be going through a rough time, as if he was sick, Liu Kang would take over Shang's body right before Kung Lao was about to kill him (in Kung Lao's ending), or before Shang was about to kill Kung Lao (in Shang Tsung's ending). Then, after you would end MK6 (Arcade + Konquest) with everyone, you would unlock Liu Kang as a 3rd outfit for Shang Tsung. By using it, the fight would begin with Shang Tsung morphing into Liu Kang. The reason why that morphing would be possible is because during the loading the character that would be loaded was Liu Kang, with his moves, but the initial animation would be special. Therefore, that animation would be the only extra to be loaded.

It would Fuck up the story if Liu returned in MK6.You see why take him out in DA but not in MK6 you know what I mean.It will ruin the Idea of the way the story is going on now.I think to be honest Midway made up for Liu's loss with everything thats happening right now.
