As I have already stated that the obvious choice is Sonya Blade only because she has earned that right, and if I didnt see Kitana I wouldnt cry cause that means that my Bitch Mileena would get it, she has always been my fav since day one, and prolly always will be, I don't see them killing her off cause she is now and always Mortal Kombat....... far as sheeve,sindel,ashrah,sareena,tanya li mei, and the others they are now and always backseats to mileena and in my eyes hold no longterm story just my thoughts.

Alright, so let me try to break it down assuming we’ll have 11 Mortal Kombat characters.
Scorpion and Sub Zero representing the ninjas. (So that’s 2)
We’ll probably have Raiden representing the Gods/Guide or teacher of the heroes.

We’ll probably have Sonya and Kitana representing the female heroes.
So HOPEFULLY we have Mileena be the one representing the female villains.
And that leaves us with 3 bad guys (Between Shang Tsung, Shao Kahn, Reptile, Goro, Baraka and Quan Chi.)

Back to Mileena!
Every series almost always has that main female villain that always sides with the bad guy or is just plain evil.
Example:
Batman has Catwoman
X Men has Mystique
Harry Potter has Bellarix etc
I think that back in the MK3 days and during the time that MK Annihilation came out, Sindel probably suited the role of being Mortal Kombat’s main female villain. However, she’s good now and Mileena’s character has definitely stepped it up and earned the title of being “Mortal Kombat’s main female villain.” Of course, she doesn’t level up with baddies like Shao Kahn or Shang Tsung, but she’s definitely up in the pyramid.
I really hope she’s back and I’m hoping Ed Boon finds it in his heart to bring this awesome character back. Her storyline ties in with other characters like Kitana, Baraka, Shang Tsung, Sindel and Shao Kahn and that boost up her level of importance. Her design has also improved and even though her character was derived from Kitana, they have successfully made them completely unique from each other.
Mileena’s character is the perfect definition of a Mortal Kombat character. She’s evil, ambitious, viscous, vengeful, persistent, loyal to her own benefit and sexy in a creepy way.
JUST IMAGINE how cool Mileena would look in the new unreal engine. With that feature that lets you look up close, I can already picture her razor sharp teeth behind her see-through veil! I can picture her licking her teeth, doing her growl, biting her teeth down, and doing her seductive poses in up close kombat! It'd look sooooo freaking cool. I think the MK Team probably thought about that too, like how they can use the new engine to really enhance certain characters. Some characters just don't have suitable signature poses, chants or looks that make the game unique and Mileena definately does. (Her weapons, her growls, her poses, her TEETH) Whenever someone says "get over here!" they think Scorpion...stuff like that makes the game unique. Mileena can totally add to that and contribute a lot to the game.

I totally agree with you, mileena is MK and always will be snaps to you also for loving this bitch, one mkd came out and i saw mileena and how different and hot she looked i was like omg and i loved her before and loved her even more afer seeing her, I just hope they give her better moves in mkdc she was in some ways limited in mka, without 3/3 she was very limited so i want them to give her a super power boost and perhaps a new outfit as her alternate :)
