You mean sub-boss right? I know the team continues to say they can't make a Shokan, so... might as well bring Moloch back. If I had my way, Kintaro would be the sub-boss in MK6.

Well, there is only so much you can do without adding more arms. Well, I guess there are alot of things, maybe this time the sub-boss could have the ability to fly. A different number of eyes could be good, and possible to do with the system. Like I said, I'd prefer Kintaro, but I don't see it happening.

my sub boss idea involves fighting numerous warriors (ie dragon kings army) simultaneously.

each army warrior (lets say 5, increases with difficulty) has a maximum of 3 hit combo's and half the regular life of a kombatant.

i have been told that this resembles an actual game mode for something but i have only played mk and doa, so i cant confirm how similar it would be.

and for the kintaro fans - i included him as a hired mercenary for shang tsung and quan chi (wouldnt be sub boss but would come before the endurance round involving shang and quan)

they did it great with moloch(who as we all know is the best sub-boss ever!!!)

Personally I don't get why the sub boss always has to be some big crazed mindless monster. They make them all brawn, and no brain (Goro they gave a story to later but the story involved killing him off). I think they should have the sub boss be more of a sleek fast character, that involves a lot of challenge, so they are something you really have to earn your way by so whoever makes it to the final boss has something to brag about. All the other sub-bosses were relatively easy and have very limited moves. Let's get something new in here (nothing wrong with a Oni which fits this description).

nah im all in favour of having a creature that has raw power and strength...i hav always prefered mortal kombat, to games like street figther because its more titanic...demons and gods...so its always nice to take on a raging beast that could destroy you if you get too close[and remember this bad boy sub boss has to to b able to beat the living crap out of a thunder God ,vengeful demons and not to mention other gezers who would make you poop ur underpants in a matter of seconds...SO he Just has to b the biggest pants filler of em all,he has to follow in Goros,kintaros,montaros and molochs footsteps]. Seeing as how the dragon king is likely to b the main boss in the next game...and seeing as how he is in a humonid form..wot about an actual dragon?...then that could include the flying aspect ~crow~ talked about. What about taking on board some of the ideas from dragon ball z...when the evil character appears to b beaten,he changes into a new form....how about u fight a small,agile,quick reptilian type character first,[AND actually make the character agile!the characters in deadly alliance were to similar,in terms of size,speed,agility and strength]then when you defeat that,it evolves[like we hav seen reptile do over the course of the mk games...and i know it took him a long time...but the dragon king is meant to b the daddy...so he can evolve a lil quicker]into an actually dragon form[that keeps the mk fans who like their sub bosses the size of texas happy,this beast will hav the ability to fly and breath fire etc etc...then when u defeat this...the dragon king will turn into his most powerful and purest form...the form we see on raidens screen...OR maybe that should b his first form...because it gives the mk fans more of a suprise as to what his final form should b....but i would go with the shao khan type of form at the end...a big humanoid who is strong and powerful...OR MAYBE!!!...his final form incorperates the power and strength from his dragon form...with the speed and agility of his first lizardy form....so basically he should b a double hard basta*d...jus an opinion

Yes! Imagine a Sub boss, half woman or half man (cooler if woman) that had the other half of its body like a fgiant Octupus! It could even make a fatality (8 legs rip Ure body parts of) or be a character if not a Sub-boss.

yes, but make her thiner, and pink, and a failed lin-kiu expairament! (i.e thay took a nomal human and gave her "green jell-o", she'd want to rip sub-zero to serds, and she'd be good, she don't know anything but who to kill.)

The subboss' is Juni and Juli. Two clone characters fighting you at the same time would be cool to see in Mortal Kombat format.!

Either a group of skeleton samuri like someone said, or maybe a dragon. That would add variety. A european-style dragon would be cool (ex. something along the lines of bahamut), and scince the boss is probably going to be the Dragon king, it would make sense.

1st off drahmin owns moloch ! and second i like moloch just that drahmin is more aggressive than moloch all though moloch ownz =) I hope they come up with a 3rd oni... maybe they could be a trio group and just kick ass ;)

Maybe they should just make the dragon king the final boss and make him really big, and really hard, and not really have a sub-boss. I know it is an MK tradition to have a big hard sub-boss. But I don't want the dragon king to be the sub-boss, and he already looks pretty big, and like he would be hard to beat. So that would work pretty well. Another option would be to make some other boss similar to Motaro, Kintaro, or Shao Khan and place them before the Dragon KIng. We could fight two hard people in a row. That would actually be really cool, and give us a challenge. They kind of already did that in MK2 with Kintaro and Shao Khan, and again in MK3 with Motaro and Shao Khan. And it worked really well both times. What does everyone think, would you like two big hard bosses in a row or not ?

I think they should have another oni that has a huge axe and has lots of armor on. That would be the best sub-boss ever.

I would like the sub-boss look like a mega giant wersion of reptile with gray skin and dark blue eyes and his name should be komodo.

What if Khameleon was the sub-boss in MK6? She could be the first female sub-boss in a Mortal Kombat game and she could be very fast with all of the female ninja characters' skills plus some original moves and skills of her own. And for the storyline, she could have some connection to Reptile and the Dragon King. However, I'm not sure if she's alive or dead. I guess we'll have to see.

Well I think a Dragon for the sub-boss would be fitting. I actually have a sketch of what I think would look good, if only I knew how to figure out mu Visioneer Scanner peice of garbage. i think the next boss should be a woman, she would be about 8 feet tall. she would have lifeless eyes like her eye sockets have rotted out. she would be well toned and muscular not like a man though. she would have long tangeld hair. her clothes would me reveling and she would probably have large wings and razor sharp claws like lady deathstrike and would have very cool martial arts moves.

I'm going with Mister_Satan666 again. But have Shao Khan be resurected by the Dragon King and be put under a urse or something.

That would be cool. And if Kintaro comes back, he should also be there to try to personally destroy Raiden since Raiden vaporized him in MK2. Perhaps for the sub-bosses, it can be many things such as an endurance match with them or maybe that rotation idea I was talking about in the top thread in this section (page 4).
