You must learn how to use all 3 fighting styles, most importantly. With all the stipulated konquest fights it helps best to use a well blend of combos and worry less about special moves and also stay away from using cheap constant moves as the AI not only learns up to it but less health is actually taken.
Try to trick the computer by juggling with a cheap "A, A, A" combo and then using the same combo grounded, right when he tries to get up. You have to stay on top of the fights in konquest because of the limitations.

Redemption is absolutely right. I would like to add something though. To me, this was probably my hardest fight yet. What worked for me was mixing up high and low combos. Do a high combo, sidestep, do a low combo. Interchange styles, but keep your combos short. You really do not have time for long intricate combos when shorter ones do about as much damage if you figure the right ones out.
