I Believe that guy is smoke...

If you look at the pic where baraka flashes a dark figure...Notice his body, you can see thru him..hes translucent! I believe this is smoke with his new look.. Like ed said, he wont be like we ever seen him before.. Which illustrates hes a translucent smoke like figure in a ninja suit..I truely believe thats smoke..

Well, the news update that claimed Ed Boon said that ended up being false. It was shortly retracted after being posted.

But either way, you're correct. That is Smoke.
