Where Liu and Raiden play good and mysterious parts in this story, They ARE already on the select screen, and that pretty much gives it up.
Plus Boon said there were more then 24, so my guess Is that theres someone else out there, chances are we might not find it.
And lastly, Its way too early to make judgements, Maybe you have to complete every task in Konquest mode before unlocking the SUPER, You never know.

i got every super unlockable except one but the others r dark raiden,shujuniko,tanya,zombie lui kang,jade,kira,sindel,kenshi,lei mei,noob-smoke,and hotaruo..but i can't find the last 1...on the charcter select screen the 1 on the top row all the way to the right thats the one i can't find so if u have any wearabouts about that charcter tell me

Those are not SUPER UNLOCKABLES...Those are hidden characters

they are liu and raiden but not cause they are secret characters i think most of you think that thats what they are yes we had to wait to unlock them but they are not secret or hidden characters that we can play with later

Is it possable that there could be one or two special characters that you might half to meet certain requiarments to get, but will not be on the select screen but like if you find them, you can get them on the select screen by pressing up on one of each of the characters on the edges of the select screen like for example, Scorpion and Sub-zero if you press up on them you could get the super unlockable characters, unless Street fighter III is the only one that does this.

only reason i do not agree with that is that raiden was on the mk deception page from the beginig as one of the characters...kinda hard to say it is a super unlockable like that no?

Kochal is an odd name I just ran across in the nether realm. I think he is a super unlockable character because I had to defeat three hard ass guys for it to open a portal in front of a giant skull with lava comming out of its mouth. when I went through the portal though it brought me back to the start of the netherrealm with a new chest there containing 1000 onix koins. If there is a guy named Kochal does anyone have any ideas as to how to make him apear now? -For those trying to replecate what I did I had beaten konquest and went back into the netherrealm, I went to grid location G-4 (the on ramp to it), Kabal was in the center, kobra was on the left and Kira was on the right ( I took them out in that order as well). Could this maybe have something to do with Kabal and ermacs endings? Any ways I'm at a loss for what to do with it so if anyone knows or has an idea let me know.

As far as we know KOCHAL is only the potal that opens for you when you beat the three.We will see in time if "HE" or "IT" is more than that.

Boon was quoted as saying there were 12 selectable characters from the start, 12 characters to be unlocked, and then a few extras you unlock after konquest mode is completed.
There were characters that were unlocked in Deadly Alliance that were not on the select screen...why wouldn't there be in Deception?

Boon didn't say that there were characters you unlocked after completing konquest...
He said that there are characters you unlock WAY after beating konquest.
I don't know about the rest of you, but to me, "WAY" implies a LONG time. Or at least more than 2 fucking days. Liu and Raiden aren't super unlockables.
And also, Kochal is the 3-headed god that summons the portal.
Talk to the oni in the netherrealm, one (or maybe all) will talk about how the 3-headed god (and he calls the god "Kochal") makes the portal to a realm where a sorcerer needs help (not those exact words, obviously, but regardless... kochal = those 3 skulls spewing lava).
