I like Smoke's new look. It's original. We have enough ninjas and one cyborg ( Sektor I hope ) is enough.

ugh.. Smoke is the best looking character ever now. Better than any other MK character EEEEEVER. He's sleek, cool etc. I'm sure he'll have smoke effects at a later date. Then watch out.


That one picture doesn't do much for me. It looks like Buzz Smokeyear or Smoke Lightyear.

Are you sure Smoke can't? Smoke just might be able too.

I myself think Smoke looks very kool. I would prefer maybe different pants though, since I'm not digging the pants really. But everything else is fine.

That picture by Jax007 is awesome, but Smoke isn't human anymore. So that picture could never happen. Maybe the outfit could happen which would be a great alt. outfit for Smoke.

Smoke's design is straight up one of the best designs in the game.

The MK team far exceeded my expectations of what he would look like.

And I know right now he just looks transparent with out any smoke effects, but I believe they will have an effect of some sort for him that should be revealed in a video to get the true feel of it.

I'm thinking they could have smoke billowing INSIDE of him as if it were concealed instead of it billowing out like the previous games.

To get the idea, just think of thick smoke billiowing inside of a glass structure.

Err that was done with Soul Edge years ago, his design is very unorignal and he dont get my vote, Kabal's better looking and he's still got the same stuff on from MK3.

How are you people still unsure? Sektor was confirmed A LONG TIME AGO! As for the Smoke look, I think it's great, definately nothing to complain about, I even prefer its originality.

We're not saying he's original because he's transparent, but because he looks nothing like anything previously seen. Even the pants give him originality points. Also, the guy from soul edge wasn't made out of Smoke.

Genesis609 i agree if that is smoke they totally ruined his look.Why in the hell do most of fighters look so cartoonish it really annoys me especially what they did to poor subby hes never going to be taken seriously anymore. Now he looks like shredder what a goof.I know mk is 3-d now and probaly will never go back to the best being2-d.But why cant they make it more realistic why are they so huge thats my biggest gripe and for the gameplay people complain about it being slow so do i.I have a crazy idea why dont they bring back the run button that was fun as hell to use and easy.

I love Smoke's new look. I like it because it's something completely new and not like any of his previous costumes. Makes me more excited about Deception ^_^

I would have to say that out of all the returning characters in the game from previous Mortal Kombat's, Smoke looks by far the best. Smoke's new outfit is awesome as hell.

If they can do this good with Smoke, then I can't wait to see what Sektor looks like.

i think he looks weird and original....unless a total diferent look....all ninjas are looking great.

People doing fatalitys to him will look weird, but he looks awsome!!!!!!!! Very origial, still ninja-ish. Lets hope his moves and fatality are good!

I'm totally loving Smoke's new look. I was preying that he wouldn't look stupid, and now, my prayers have been answered!

100% agreed. though the clothing is a bit too noob saibot for my taste, his mask and transluscent form are very, very cool. and lets not forget folks there is at least 2 outfits per character. since noob appears in his classic black ninha form, odds are this is a classic ninja form for smoke, too.

I can honestly say I didn't like it for him at first, but it is starting to grow on me. My only complaint is that it's a wee bit too dark. I'd prefer a bit less black, more dark grey.

I was adamant about his appearance being half cyber, half human. I didn't want an ethereal form. I've changed my mind.

The faceplate, if that's what it is, looks like a horrid rictus of a grin. That's scary, and nice at the same time.

This has nothing to do with the fact that he appeared in a dream last night and threatened to kill me, by the way.

Although it seems odd now, and performing fatalities on him may look somewhat strange, imagine how he will look in motion with the smoke swirling inside of him, and billowing around him.

Yes. I don't think a still pic can do justice to Smoke's new design. We have to see him in motion. Then draw your own conclusions.
