I've been trying so hard to beat Kenshi's training but I can't get pass this one combo on PS2, it's triangle, triangle, triangle, L1, circle, L1, triangle, X,X. I've been trying forever to get passed this 9 button combo but I'm not successful. Any tricks or tips?

First off Jade is my bitch, no one has won more rounds of MK2 using only Low Kick before the question mark that I have.
But seriously if I remember which one you're talking about correctly all I did was change my stance (not fighting style). What I mean is if you have mostly your back to the screen before you start the combo and it doesn't work then try doing the backwards dash thing to get it where mostly your front is to the screen. I hope u get what I'm talking about cuz it worked for me.

Yeah I've got a tip, using the PS2 pad for me is not an option as the change style button is one of the shoulder buttons. I commend those of you that can play this game with a control pad. I found that using an Arcade Joystick is so much easier to combo with because all of the buttons are right there for you to press and there's no delay trying to use that index finger to change styles. If you can't use a joystick maybe you should look for a 6 button pad with the shoulder button assigned to block and grabbing a stage weapon.
Take care
