There are many different type of hook swords, not just the one that Kabal originally had. And I do think that he will have the hook swords still. If Movado isn't in the game, it's not like they only made one pair of hook swords. He could just go to the store and buy another pair.

Kabal MUST have the Hookswords, its his trademark.

I think he'll have them....He'll probably be shown in the opening movie either killing or beating Mavado badly and taking them back....However they do it, I think it's safe to assume they'll be back where they belong....the deadly hands of Kabal!

Yeah it should be easy enough for him to walk into Outworld's favorite weapon store, "Bloodbath and Beyond," and pick up a new pair. Or maybe he could order them off Ebay.

Kabal isn't Kabal with out those damned hookswords he'd better have them also Mavado sucked and i hope he gets killed

It was never 100% fact that Mavado took Kabal Hook swords. It said it was only rumored in Konquest mode. Besides there isn't like Mavado or anyone else in the MK world that doesn't use hookswords. I think Kabal will have Hook swords in MK: D since they were never talken from him, even if there were I am sure Kabal could have found another pair. This how I see things, so the stuff above is my opinion. :|

That's good man. And I think he should have the hookswords to cause we never saw them that much except for his throw. And i also want him to have the cream and run move yeaahhh kabal!!!

i am pretty sure he will have them (the back lash would be huge) and as for someone sayign that "we never saw much of them save his throw" thats not true. in his kombos he used them. NOW if mavado DID take them i dunno how he'd get them back. he could just kill him but thats a waste of a character (and an important one, like it or not, mavado is damn important) he could just beat him up and take him, we'll have to wait and see, but then again it might have just been a rumour that he he stole em from kabal.

As said earlier, Kaabl could just get some more. Mavado was great witht he Hookswords and it'd be nice to see Kabal with something new. Although he probably will ahve the hookswords. With or without them, he'll own!

Kabal was one of the first chars to be confirmed but still not a single pic's shown of him.. damn I hope he has his hookswords back..

mavado has the badass punisher look from marvel comics, and he has a good story and badass clan.

hso hao sucked ass but his weapon was the only thing good about him.

so i say hso hao died by jax and that was a real ending, kabal gets his hookswords back(because they wouldnt have 2 fighters with the same weapon whether they are in the same game or not)

they will most likly give mavado crowbars or hsu haos sun moons weapon and give back kabals hookswords to the rightful owner.

how can some people say htis game will suck?? when subzero has his ice clonse back, kabal, smoke and noob are in, and the jail cell is rumored to also have kintoro in it. the konquest kicks ass!!!


i didnt think we would see a cartoony kabal spin and that pissed me off, but now that they confirmed teleport moves to be back, it shows me that not everything in the game is motion captured(by that mokap guy) and that the spin could actually return!!!!!!!!!!!


i wanna see a fight scene with kabal and mavado.

damn i really want canon(real) endings now, i wanna see some really good fight scenes, thats why i really what the FMV endings cause i know they wouldnt show flashbacks and show people fighting each other, like khan getting up after his assualt and kabal fighting mavado then it showing jax killinhg hso hao.


i like the way the movie showed sonya , jax, motoro all fighting 3 different fights and they showed clips of each one at the same time.

thats how i would love to see a couple of fights in the intro and one of the fights including kabal and mavado.

i agree mavados special moves suck and thats what makes him bad, but they can change that, kano and sonya can join forces(nice twist i see kano turning good for a while for some reason)
and mavado is a great part of the story he should just get his ass kicked and maybe the red dragon leader(who could be a new character in the game, will help up mavado and quickly help him retreat.)

i alway thought mavado was the leader but quickly found out that there ws no proff and that he isnt the leader of this clan, the leader should be a playable fighter.
