I found something in the http://mkdeception.midway.com html source code.

I was looking at the html source code of the MK: Deception Site and I found something cool. In the Meta tag keyword section their is a bunch of characters names. Here is a copy of the meta tag.

I believe Havik is Skab and Onaga is the sub-boss.

Also, we've already had a few topics on this.

DMitch - Well, while we may not agree on who Onaga and Havik are, I'm sure we can both take a small measure of satisfaction in the fact that "Skab" is no more. That was hideously bad name.

Definitely. Somebody suggested to call him "Infekted Wound". Lol it's still better than Skab.

Isn't the pal version or something going to be named different then Decpetion. I'm pretty sure the name was going to be changed to Mortal Kombat Mystique for another region.

Anyways, I think Onaga is Scab, cause if Scab was Havik, that would make him Darruiu's friend which makes no sense.

I also think, that the list doesn't include any of the hidden fighters.

yea, but i'm the one who started the whole "ONAGA" conversation when i posted up something i found when i searched for the name's meaning, even though there are multiple other things that have to do with the name "Onaga".

Why doesn't it make sense that the guy previously referred to as Skab would be Darrius' friend. We don't know anything about Darrius except that he's neutral and viewed as a terrorist in the Realm of Order.

Also, if the list doesn't include the hidden characters, why is Liu Kang there? Isn't he a fairly big hidden character?

Yeah, there will be hidden characters...and there likely won't be "hidden" characters. I'm afraid the list on the MKD website may, in fact, be it.

There are 12 initial characters, 12 unlockable characters and a few more that are GENUINE hidden/secret characters.

Onaga = Skab and Havik is someone else. I think Liu Kang is the sub-boss.

No, I don't think he is. Because, he is on the Select screen(Im 99% sure of it).

However, I haven't heard much more on Chimera either. So its still really up in the air at this point as to who the sub-boss will be.

dude did u even read any of the posts aboce u? lol! anyway to answer ur Q yes we have speculated that skabs new name is onaga! others claim it might be havik but that would mean darrius is allies with havik.
