i tried to find some time to play some ps2, but i dont think its gonna happen. Everyone is sleeping in the house, and i am in my room, using a "stolen" internet connection. So i thought, id just make a little post.

I know i wasnt around in mkd days, but even in this small amount of time, i think i have gotten acquainted with alot of kool folks here at mko. I dont think i ever got into mka with the amount of zest which some of you had but i tried to hang in there with you all. Nevertheless, the most fun part was always MKO, with all the dramas, jokes, and "never-ending" tourney threads (kudos to those who can understand the REAL meaning of "never-ending").

Now a post to some of you individually (hope i dont anyone):

Versatile: I always thought he was a prick on the boards, till he told me he could give me some tips on msn. Arguably, the best player in mka. Forget mka, we had ALOT in common besides that. Be it electronic music, animes, movies, or just some random math question. I think i got along the most with him. Also, alot of what i know about L7 guys, i know from him. I always respected him for being known as the best sub-zero player, although i think i am the BIGGER fan
He helped me quite a bit to improve my game. And i think i never felt intimadated by him, EVER. Not because he didnt give me a tough time, but because it was more or less playin with a friend, with no egos in the way. I once made him go all the way to sub in a series to 5, and he told me its been a long time since someone made him do that. I never knew, till that time, that Chris plays with a ladder-like format, starting from worst to best characters (i think). I still have the vid for that series. I, however, dont think we could get any formal series to 10 goin on (Chris?). Something always got in the way, or maybe the beating was so bad that i forgot, lol. Anyways,

Dave: Or should i call him Mario? This guy used to own me like 10-0, 15-0, dai vs sub, but i loved playin him. I finally asked him for tips against dai, and he gave me some pretty good ones. I think in our next series went 5-1, and sadly he quit soon after. He helped me loads getting better against Dai. Or lets just say he gave me ALOT of good tips. If i learned well from them or not, i wont say. We had some loooooong chats on aim. Discussed alot of political stuff goin around in the world. Religious as well.
Also, he was the one who put the concept of "lazy" americans in my mind, due to the fact how many ppl used to say his name (mods please dont skull me ) Remember those parasite vids, dave? lol. Also, always soooo fun to hear BOTH sides of the story after a dave vs chris series. LOL

ARCADE: better knows as BALL-SAC, i just recently got to know him through Chris. Chris has this habit of adding unsuspecting ppl into convos. Many a times i have found myself involved in random chats with random ppl, not knowing what the hell is goin on. lol. Anyways, Sac seems like a very cool guy. Apparently he is very good at 2d snk games as well. I saw him kick some ass in kof and garou. also played some mvc with him and chris. I nvr really got to play him in mka, until recently when i just said, "Fuck lag! Bring on the west coasters!". I just wanted to play everyone before i had to leave. Really skilled player. Can use alot of the roster with alot of skill. I just hope he gets to the age of 25+ in one piece (the things skaters do these days!)

Dan: Always thought he was a kool guy. He always had some funny comment to say, but also was VERY skilled. His ability to use alot of mid/low tiers at such a high level, really amazed me. I always had mad respect for him, still do. We did have a MAJOR bump in our relationship ( not that kind of) towards the end, which was unfortunate. But hopefully, we are over it. My post with 3 skulls is now replaced with a PUBLIC APOLOGY for everyone and anyone i offended. MKA is seriously not worth it for me to show THAT side of my personality. Hopefully, dan is REALLY kool with me and not "just saying that".

Nakm: I first fought him when i was a scrub (prob him too), and his frost absolutely destroyed me! At that point in time, i never used to play more than a series to 5 (always, either to 3 or 5). It wasnt until Quik made a post on mko sayin that against frost just block low and stay away, and she cant hurt you. That, really opened the door for me. I think i got my revenge on him, but his Frost is still pretty damn good. Although, now my main threat was tanya. Frost vs Sub is.........

SZ2: Now this cat i had a little jealousy with cause he also used sub at the time, and i wanted to be one of the best (dont know if i ever got there) subs. So, it was a healthy competition with him. Well he dropped sub anyways, so now it dont matter. What was kind of strange and funny abt sz2 was that in EVERY post he made, he would make someone REALLY MAD. It was like sz2 would post something and a few posts later someone would be all over his ass. I really felt for the guy sometimes. I also feel, that alot of the times he tried to force ppl to "praise him" which made ppl mad. But, in all fairness to him, he did do REALLY WELL against some of the top names in mka. In reality, he DOES deserver some of the respect he asks for. Maybe, he just says the wrong thing at the wrong time. Makes for good comedy. Anyways, sz2, you have my respect for whatever its worth. You have worked REALLY hard on your game and it shows. Oh, and while i do praise you, you do have CRAZY JUMPS!
