Oddly to me Deception doesn't feel like a MK game to me, that is sort of why I got bored with it real fast.I haven't touched Deception in a while. To me it isn't a really bad game, but it is just so slow( the recovery attacks) totally turns me off from the game. It feels so different from MK: DA in terms of slower game when it comes to the fighting to me with compared to MK : DA . Also I didn't like the fact that special moves played a larger part in the game. Most of the new features I am not really into such as Puzzle and Chess. The storyline isn't as interesting as past MK games. Mainly character subplots aren't interesting along with newer characters didn't interest me( all but Kira and Ashrah). I've started back playing MK : DA again and some Halo 2. Sometimes I do go back to Deception just to use some of the new cooler fighting styles in the game.
I can't stop playing it. I already completed the konquest three times!!!
Not to mention the battles we fight with my friends.
oh, yeah, the gameplay is kinda slower compared to MKDA. But the story and the design is far more important for me than gameplay. Not a bad game, beter than Dead or Alive (but DOA can be handled far more easier than MKDA, MKD) and Tekken5. I give it a 8/10

No-no-no-no-no-no.
All of you, shut up and play it. Now.
After I get the chance to play it online, THEN you can get bored of the game, but not before, nor after.
I still want MKO competition when i start playing.

Uuuh...wrong topic?
Overall yes, I've gotten pretty bored of Deception. I haven't played in about 3 weeks. Then again i've been pretty busy, i've got 3 20+ page papers due by the end of next week, so I don't have time for anything. I've been playing Metal Gear Solid 3 mostly, and Halo 2, but I don't usualyl have time. Unfortunately MKD is the last game on my mind that I want to play, though I do pop it in every now and again just to play through.

lol....
I stopped playing it after 2 weeks. I tried playing it 2 days ago but I couldn't. It took me much longer to get bored with DA.
I unlocked everything after about 5 days and realized there were no super unlockables long before most people here so I put a little time into figuring out the system realized it was a horrible design in every aspect and have been waiting for tekken 5 ever since.
I do think it's funny that krackerjack quotes the comment about being better than tekken 5 yet whines about people who play cheap. Funny you are not going to see that same whining on tekken 5.

I agree with everthing there. It was very half-assed(thanks cartmansp

I avoided saying anything about Tekken because I don't want to start a war. I think krackerjack is a Tekken fan, though.

Yes Iam VERY tired! Talk about Super Unlockables HAD me very exited!

i only played this game for the first 3 weeks it was out and i haven't played this game since. after i unlocked everything and i found out there was nothing else for me to unlock, i just got bored with it. even though this game was alot better than DA, i still got bored with it. ecspecaily when gta.sa came out. I guess im not into MK like i use to be back in the early 90's. but I know if today was 10years when i was 13, i know i definitly would still be playing the is game and months on.
The reason why I don't play it anymore is because everything that I saw in MK D I had already seen in MK DA: the graphics, the sounds, the character models, the voices, fatality styles, etc... It was cool seeing it for the first time in MK DA, but seeing it again 2 fucking years later again just got me a little over-excited about this game, and I don't know why. This game is great, but we already saw it in MK DA. (IMO)
Peace.
Peace.

It's probably been about three weeks since I've spent any more than an hour on Deception. GTA: SA took up a lot of my time, and right now I'm stormin my way through DBZ: Budokai 3. As soon as I finish this, it's on to Snake Eater.
I'll probably start playing a lot of Deception again after the holiday rush is over and I've played through all of the new releases I've been looking forward to.

omg you guys buy a lot of games in little time gap, in this year I've only bought soul calibur 2 and deception lol, and I'm kinda undecided on wich game I'll buy next, xmen legends or budokai 3... but I'll only buy one of those probably march/april next year lolol
and of course not, I'm not tired of deception, I only unlocked less than half of the krypt, raiden, havik, shujinko, kenshi and noob smoke, and kinda like 8 alts, so I'm pretty much in the beggining lolol

Online play is the only thing keeping this game off the shelf for many gamers. I mean I love Mortal Kombat just as much as the next person but after the first few months when you have unlocked anything and everything there is to do then you have to get bored with it. That's the MK has always been for me.
Online play is what has kept me playing this because it's always different. Anything could happen in an online match, that's what keeps it exciting.

Nope. I love Deception, IMO MKD is waaaaay better than DA. I got bored with DA 2 weeks after I got it and sold it. Deception just feels like a different game, and I love that. MK is MK to me even if it feels or looks different. I just wish i had Xbox Live.

I played it for like 3 days. The difference with it between it and DA was so slim it was like playing it over.

still play it once in awhile. i let my friend borrow it and now im playing MK:DA a bit more. Super Mario 64 DS has been taking up my time lately.
