Kitana has the princess of Edenia, but in MKDeception she's kidnapped/captured, and Mileena occupies her place. Kitana isn't dead... at the most, evil

Kitana isn't dead... unfortunately. She is imprisoned and/or under the Dragon King's control.

I don't think she is dead. Kitana is captured, thus she is out of power in terms of her armys. Once Dragon King or his forces captured Kitana Mileena took power over Kitana's forces. With Mileena looking like Kitana she had no problem doing so. In Sindel's bio that Sindel along with Jade plan to free Kitana from Dragon King's control. With that being said she is alive. Dragon King is somehow using her something he has in mind.

Anyone ever figure that it was Mileena in Deadly Alliance game? They did say Mileena posed as Kitana and led her troops for a while. I mean the whole Goro assisination seems obviously like a set up. I say Kitana has been imprisoned even before Deadly Alliance. Jade possibly as well. It would explain absences.

Uh, Kitana was UNMASKED in Deadly Alliance (at least in her alternate outfit, and only in the GBA version). That theory's right out the window.

So what? Who's to say that she didn't do some spell or something? She was working with two sorcerors for christ's sake. I mean if people here are able to believe Tanya is impersonating Jade, then why not Mileena impersonating Kitana, just by fixing up her mouth a bit using some spell? So nope. My theory still stands...

Well, I for one wouldn't miss Kitana if she were dead. It'd probably be the most interesting thing to happen to her storyline-wise since MK: Gold. =/

But I doubt that she is dead, I think the MK Team took the "damsel in distress" approach to Kitana's story in Deception. It'd be interesting if the Dragon King actually manages to break her will and somehow make her swear allegience to him.

Cursing is perfectly acceptable on the board as long as it isn't directed at another user as an insult.

My best guess is that the same thing that happened to Li Mei also happened to Kitana, based on Sindel's storyline. Of course as for the "former princess" thing, I think Sindel got kinda pissed that Kitana waged a war with Shao Kahn without her mother's authorization. After all, Kitana is still SECOND in command of the ruling family of Edenia, so even though she takes more of an active role in ruling Edenia than Sindel does, Sindel still has the authority to take action against Kitana for insubordination, up to and including removing Kitana from the line of succession.

Dan you have no proof quit getting your hopes build up. She will be in the game of course Konquest and In the videos and stuff lol. I think its funny over that kitanas captured means shes in the game SHE's OUT OF THE GAME. Theres no proof of her being in as a playable character.

I have nuthin against Kitana, shes one of my favorites, but i wud have liked seeing Mileena beating her this time....
