i was sitting here on the computer letting my ps2 sit with MKD on and it was playing demos. well i happend to look over and see nitara fighting mileena in one on one kombat. let me just say i was in shock. i couldnt beleave what i was seeing. now with my attettion to it i kept watching to see more but unforently that was all. if this was old news sorry i didnt see it on the boards but if anyone can look on thiers and confirm this with me then we may have found out a secret character. now just the matter of finding her.

That is interesting. If I were you though you may want to spend the day watching with a camera ready. You may have some people calling you a liar if you can't snag a snapshot. I will watch for that though. Here's hoping your telling the truth.
i have thought about this and i am in the process of sitting here with a camera hoping to god that it comes back up sooner rather then later since the demo is on random. if anyone else reads this please just let the demos run in the background while u r sitting on ur comp or whatever. please help me prove what i saw.

I've got it going while I'm working on a program. I'm cheating though where I press start to snap it back to the 1 on 1 fights only and skip the chess and puzzle demos. That may not work that way though. How long was it running? Did the Movie play more than once?
I'll stick with it for a little while but once I get sick of it your on your own.

Hrm...when you saw this fight going, did you see any life bars on it? And if so, did you notice if both of the fighters had a little "half-face" icon beneath each lifebar? I know it might've have been on a quarter screen sort of size, but perhaps you could see that...

You are definetly going to have some people calling you liars...I am going to be one of them!
i understand that i am going to be called a liar for not haveing proof of this fight....hell if i were u guys i would call me a liar and stone me. now no i didnt c a icon or even see her name. i only saw this for about a split second. and to be fare i have been up all night and i could be wrong but im almost 100 percent sure i saw nitara fighting mileena. i mean i dont know of any other characters that could look like nitara

call him a liar all you want, but there are pics on this guy's web site. He hacked the game and her 3D fighting model is in there, so it's possible that he saw her fighting on the screen. And if you don't believe me, here are the pics! And if that still doesn't do it for ya, go look through the forums for the guy that made the video of them fighting. The models are in there.

I personaly do photoshop work for a living. I've been more or less been told I'm very good what I do. That being said I looked at a couple of the pictues that were linked to and I have this to say. If they are fakes they are damn good ones. Looking at the one of Shang Tsun and Frost, Frost is using Nitira's and Sindel's shared fighting style. Frost did not use that fighting style. Unless someone found a frame that happed to look like that fighting style's stance then there is no way to fake that in photoshop. I do not have any reason to think those are not 100% real screen shots.
The only way I could imagine them being faked is by somehow making hacked version of the game by swiching some of Frost data and sindel's so the game thinks its loading Sindel's model and instead gets Frost for MKDA. Probably not easy to do, but not impossible.

When it shows the fight scenes with people, it doesn't have names or life bars.

I took your advice and tried watching the game demo but I found something very interesting. Once the fight demo is over, the screen will split into four sections....this is where it gets interesting. Everyone watch the bottom right screen.....it is a running demo of puzzle kombat. You will notice Havik and Kira as fighters in the puzzle mode. This might be a little proof but I am going to create my own thread on this one.

If you are telling the truth then that is 100% proof, well done.
If you are lying you will be shunned by all and desytroyed any credibility you ever had.
You have nothing to gain by lying so I believe it (for now). Tell me though, how long was the game in demo mode before you saw it?
OT - I might be wrong here but could that shape in the Pit 1 flying in front of the moon be Nitara in MKD? It looks like it could be BUT I vaguely remember the exact shape from MK1 so maybe I am just hoping against hope.

Also when you watch the split screen, if you look at the Konquest part of it, you see younger shujinko running around Orderrealm (probably his first visit there). He runs up to Fujin and talks to him, then the next scene you see him running on the green part of Orderrealm and he turns and walks up to Raiden and speaks to him. the box pops up and it says, "Defeat him to gain a reward" or something like that. I don't know about you...but I don't remember that part of the game.

I thought that was the Dragon King silhouetted on the moon, but who knows.

Thanx Yoshi and I knew it was a longshot, still a slight Nitara resemblance, especially the wings.
I think it was in MK1 wasn't it? I mean that very shape.
On topic I will check the demos and hope to see Nitara and others soon.

Also in that four-split screen thing, there is a Koin in the Nexus, and it shows that only the Earthrealm portal is open.
And during Chess Kombat demos, I've seen both Sub-Zero and Nightwolf in their alternate costumes. As far as I know, you can't use alts in Chess.

some of the characters, Johnny Cage, for example, do have their faces under the lifebar, and name on the bar. Those images were action replay hacked, so the characters weren't unlocked. The guy was just showing us that the models of those characters do in fact exist and are on the disc. (though, after fighting some of them, it should have been apparent.)

I had a go at this yesterday but no extra characters in demos.
What I did was press start when the demo fight happens. This way it resets and you get another demo fight within 30 seconds instead of waiting for puzzle, chess dmeos etc.
Maybe you can't do it that way, I dunno. Also maybe they need to be unlocked like the other extras, assuming this is all true.
Sub if you really saw her you probably unlocked her, maybe you should mess with some button combos on the select screen or something.

Well I've been pretty suspicious of Nitara being in the game. You can find her in a cave and all she does IN THE WHOLE GAME is stand there and say: "I do not wish to speak with you..." or something like that. Pardon me, but I think it would be quite useless to put a character hidden in a cave just to do nothing. About the puzzle fighters, you also see missing puzzle fighters in the loading pictures.
