Well, since almost 20 characters have been seen in the Prison so far that WOULD be a "torrent" like they said.
But I doubt it.

I'd be kind of happy and and kind disappointed. Kitana, Reiko, Shao Kahn, Sektor, Rain and some others I'd definitely unlock.
Kai, Fujin, Stryker, Hsu Hao...them I don't care about. They can rot in their cells.

So far a considerable amount of people like Jade, Katana, Sonya look playable thanks to there 3-D modes( very detailed) at the same time I don't think that by "busting them out of prison" they will be unlocked. In cased you didn't see. There are yellow danger zone markers never the inmates of the prison. Enforcing the idea that characters will hold you if you get near them. I think the only way to unlock them will be in the krypt,Konquest, or button code.

it wouldnt work cus they grab u when u walk by, so if they werent there it wouldnt be as fun. I wish they were though.

well Drahmin and Hsu Hao could you help with grabbing you by your neck.

Well they could replace the MK fighters with generic fighters and prisoners that grab.That way after all the MK fighters are released, they still be someone in there to grab you.

what Ive wroten could be possible because take Jade for example!!!she was in the prison but then
she obviously is unlocked and was freed!!!!!!

Well if you think about it, in the last videos that we saw, Jade was the only one that had a different outfit out of all of them. So that shows that she is playable, however the other characters have the same old outfits. So what I am saying is that since Jade was playable her outfit was improved.

God, some of these people need to die. All the people who were introduced in mk4 should have died not been put in jail.

Shao's dead. People are quoting other people who don't know as saying he's alive. I loved Shao Kahn in the old MKs, but he was only a boss--and defeated bosses should die and never return..... (he was suppossed to be dead after MK3, because Outworld returned to being Edenia, but Vogel changed the story to say they split apart, instead. boo, I say.)

and thats is that Jade should be not in the prison after unlock her.because it was awful to play with cyrax in jade's dessert in mk trilogie.

I'm pretty impartial on the matter but I'll support the thead starter on this one for the sake of arguement...

There is no reason why you can't unlock everyone in the prison cells.

"There isn't enough memory!" This pretty much died out with the arcades, if they want to make it happen, they will.

"The prisoners are a danger zone..." It's been said that the prisoners cycle in and out of the prison. If you choose someone who should be in, the cell may be open and the rest still full, despite availability.. Or only one cell will be open.

And so on.
