He went threw a portal, took a seat in a thrown, and Khans helmet dropped on reikos head real slowly, then it faded out, leaving us hanging, but like i said sub, im not talking about reiko here, im talking about khan man, so calm down.

Midway has already said that was just a prank pulled by the team the made the MK4 FMVs and that it had nothing to do with the ral MK plotline. Not that I don't want to see Kahn back, but its already been confirmed that ending didn't count for anything.

Then again the current MK design team doesn't like Reiko, so it would be a conveinent enough loophole for them to bring Kahn back into the series. I don't think we'll be seeing Kahn in an active part in MKD though.

That is an interesting theory you have there. I think that it would be tough for Shang Tsung to mistake Reiko for Kahn, having worked with Kahn for so long. Shao Kahn is like seven feet tall anyway(just a guess by looking at his size in MK 2 and 3).

I am going to continue thinking that Reiko was just filler, and that he won't come back. I'd definitely be surprised if he did though.

I dont know man, it said in Kano's Konquest in MKDA i think, that he witnessed a great display of power in the throne room when Shang Tsung and Quan Chi rushed Kahn, and that Kahn almost had the upperhand, but ultimately was too weak to continue and defeat them due to his lose against the Earth heroes when he entered earthrealm (mK3 saga) and also against Kitana and the Shokans forces against his army.

Only Kahn in his weak state could almost win against two of the most powerful sorcerers in Outworld. Hes one of, if not the, most powerful beings in Outworld. He can go toe to toe against Raiden. If he almost crushed the Deadly Alliance when he was weak, imagine when he was at full strength. Only Kahn could pull that off. Reiko cant stand up to both Shang Tsung and Quan Chi at the same time.

But regardless Kahn will definitly be back. The MK team already said we havent seen the last of Kahn, so he will return, and you can bet when he does he'll come back more powerful and more pissed off than ever.

I think most of you are missing the point of the post. Its established the Reiko and Khan arent the same, what the original post was saying that maybe the deadly allience killed reiko thinking it was Khan. Like reiko was Khans body double in the event that he (khan) would be attacked. And who is to say that Reiko couldnt take on shang tsung and quan chi at the same time ? Its possible khan would choose reiko as his stand because he is so powerful.
Chances are that this is speculation , and not going to be used, but none the less i think this is an excellent idea, and a good way to close the loopholes and kill to birds with one stone, Killing Reiko cause for some reason no one likes him (i thought he was cool), and bring back Khan.
I think its kind of a rip that we never got khan as a playable character, (trilogy dont count cause he had no fatalitys , combos, and unbalanced).
