They're just background material. I doubt they're secret characters. If Boon had half a brain he wouldn't be bringing Jarek back.

Only imaginable secret characters (ones without story) are the models from Deadly Alliance. Including Mavado, Reptile, and more.

It's Fujin, Jarek, Drahmin and Jade. I don't think it means they're back.

It reminds me of Mortal Kombat 2 how Kano and Sonya were held prisoner. Well mabe these characters will be back sometime later. The thing to know is that they are still alive.

How do you know Shang Tsung is dead?

I don’t think Drahmin, Fujin or Jerek will be hidden characters because they are the character models used in previous games. But Jade has never been 3D before, this shows that a good deal of effort has already been put into her. There are plenty of old 3D models they could have used in this stage so why make a new one unless it’s going to be playable?

we just had a thred kinda like this b4. any1 else notise the yellowness @ the bottom in front of the cages? maybe some how u can brake them open, coz dreath traps had redness infront of them and weapons have green? maybe yellow is something 2 do with characters?

i was thinking that mabe the yellow lines means that the characters in the prison can choke you and cause you to lose some health.

1. as someone said before the models rnt updated (in the case of jade i cant really tell but she doesnt looekd very cleaned up or detailed as u would expect a newly redeisgned character would look, + if shes in there with other non playables i doutb hse will be but who knows)

2. the shang tsung in the deadpool pic is just a homage to MK 2

I think that 3D model of Jade is just the MK4 Tanya with Green clothes instead of yellow.

That's true. But this topic has been debated to death before. But just to add my 2 cents, no I do not think any of those characters will be playable. As much as I love the thought of Jade returning, I believe they are only backgroung decorations.

Just so you know, Jade may very well be a hidden character in MKD.

So will fujin I don;t have the screenshot I'll have to find it but somewhere theres a screenshot of the mainscreen and beside DK in the the clouds u can see Fujins name in the clouds.

Fujin is another. As is Nitara! Although these two are subject to change.

I personally don't think that they will be playable characters(even though I hope they are) because they have the same clothes that they have back in MK4, MKT, & MKDA. And if you look at Sindel for example her clothes look very different from the one in MK3... so what my point is that if they had different clothes then they might be playable characters who knows...

Its pointless to even try to guess those characters.

I just think that that will be some kind of interaction with those imprisioned characters, that yellow lights on the floor must have some sort of meaning...
