and while the DK was walking towards the palace arena he picked up the living as prisoners. Hence why Kitana, Kung Lao and others are captive.

However, I'd be very disappointing if these people in the prison stage are actually the super unlockables.

Its possible. Overall it is too early too tell. I think we will get more information as we play through konquest. Like MK: DA I hope MK: Deception's konquest might tell us what happened pre MK: Deceception's intro video.

The thing I wonder is if the moviefights between sub-zero and baraka/mileena vs baraka is in the game, and also those "trainingdances" that were in mkda still remains in mkd(seen in the newest trailer) bleh

I think that too, with the new update we were told that Cage is also in prison. So I am guessing that whom ever did not wake up in time to escape were thrown in prison.

Isn't Goro supposedly in the prison stage as well, despite the fact he's dead? If so, prison stage appearances are really nothing more than non-canon cameos.
