I don't doubt there is MORE secrets to this game, but the whole H-5 or H-6 you can walk off the map crap, I think it's NO MORE than a glitch.
I know this game have many glitches, like if you read the other thread I created earlier, a friend of my got stuck inside a building and can't move off NO matter what.
It looks like a glitch to me, because if it were actually a secret path. I would think they would put something interesting on the clouds, instead of nothing but air.
Hopefully, they tested this game very seriously with any of the unlockables... so the glitches in this game don't ruin our chances of unlocking the SUs.
I suggest that Ed Boon, and his team... Midway try a Xbox Live update/patch for this game, if they CAN. Even though the back of the box says no Online Contents.
We shall ask them about these glitches in the Fight chat... at least give us assurance that we are searching the wrong place.
With all these glitches, I still say that this game is REMARKable, AWESOME!
It really isn't a big deal. All games have glitches of somekind. None is perfect. I am sure Halo 2 will have glitches too!
I think with Xbox's massive harddrive, more and more gaming companies should make games updateable/patchable!

i think you're wrong because if they didnt mean for people to find A-1 it wouldnt be there especially if you look at where it is.

I was just thinking reading your post. What if they put stuff in the game to mislead us to thinking something will happen there. Like one giant maze to the final solution we are all looking for....So this A-9 thing may be just a dead end and we need to turn back and keep looking. But who knows. We will find out soon enough, hopefully.

I looked at it and doubt it's a glitch. Why go from 1 in the clouds to A9 after a long distance directly away from the Portal? I actually did it with the camera facing Shujinko running and watched as the main part of order-realm got smaller and smaller. I do wonder just how far A9 goes though as I think it kept going. When I ran back it was still on A9 for a while so I didn't just stop on an invisible wall on the way out, it kept going................The question must be then being so vast where the hell will the chest (if there is one) be? (yet alone when).
I don't think NTSC gamers were meant to find everything before the PAL version was even released. Whether that has to do with this thing or not well time will tell but I do think time alone will unlock certain things somewhere.

You must not know that a lot of gaming glitches are LIKE this then...
A lot of games have glitches like this, where you go off the map and weird things happens, such as Coordinates expands (Like from A-8 to a A-9) not to mention you walk 3 minutes to get there. I have never seen a secret like this in any other games. If it's a secret as you all say, it's would the first to act like a glitch!
Like I said, if it's a secret path, I think when you walk you will notice things.
But we don't, we see NOTHING but air!
Fake Secret, a big glitch, I INSIST!!!
But don't worry, in the NEXT Mortal Kombat, they will be a secret just like this.
Cuz, you know Ed Boon and Mk developers reads us and is Nortourious to implement something like this, just to have fun with us LOL :)

We all have our opinions on this and I say let people believe what every they want to believe. I believe it may be something because if you walk straight out off H-5 you walk quite a ways and then you hit A-9. Thats nowhere near A-8. But hey I might be wrong I can see how its a glitch too. But if everybody waited for somebody else to do something about it we would never find out.

Like I said in the other thread:
Fine. Whatever.
Keep investigating that A-9 area if you don't agree with me it's only a glitch.
tt's your time you are wasting anyway, NOT mine... What do I care?
Good luck, finding anything though! You gonna need it!
Be sure to let me know if you really find anything there... and I'll apologize I been wrong.

he's right you know
with all the work put into the game, and having to make a whole nother game fit in, It's easy almost expectable for there to be flaws.
I think the team just missed a spot when placing invisible walls. And the reason A-9 is there, is because they didnt have any place to put it so they stuck it out there, the fact that somone stumbled upon this and decided to wait to year 89 is pure bullshit, dont believe a glitch

I probably didn't word my last post that well but yes I am aware similar glitches occur in other games. It could be as you say, I concede that, then again, it could be intentional, only time will tell. Like you I won't be stting there for the year 89 unless someone proves it actually works. I am still 50/50 on the whole thing.

>Does anyone know who discovered this first anyway? How was it brought to our attention in the first place?<
I don't think it's hard to discover this...
I mean, all one had to do is to walk along the walls at H-5, and suddenly they are in the air... and then they figure what happens if they walk forward... for 3 minutes or however long they want want to waste their time.
I really don't think it's something people heard from the Official source and led them to try this... in fact, I remember before A-9, a lot people believed -1 is a secret area as well.

yeah the infamous MK2 glitch is there too, where when it says finish him, and hit the opponent before he/she gets up, you can still hit them one more time...and the last hit finish him is there too, wonder what happens when you get hit you lose then do a move where the winner falls into a death trap...like the MK2 dead pool glitch...

Sorry guys, this is definitely a glitch. If you look at other games, their glitches are very simliar, like Jedi said. That is all this is, not to mention it goes on forever. I ran for fifteen minutes when I first read about this, there was nothing but empty space, then I realized it would take me fifteen minutes to get back, so I reset my game. A glitch, nothing more here.
P.S. All our other pressing questions will be answered at fight night. I guarantee there is more to this game than meets the eye though, afterall, its called Deception.wow

I have 3 reasons why I don't think it's a glitch.
1. It's a sizeable gap in the surrounding area of the level, meaning it would be hard to sneak by the testers, especially considering how quickly it was found by average joes like us.
2. The path you follow through this invisible area is a specific walled area, not just some open space. It's leading you in a specific path and a specific direction. Otherwise, you could just freely roam the outside of the Orderrealm, much like amny other collison holes in some other 3D games.
3. the "A-9" seems way too specific to just be a glitch thrown in there, especially considering this specific path leads you to it. Otherwise, it probably would've stayed as "-1" through the entire path.

What? theres actually an a-9!??
I looked everywhere for it, and could never get anywhere besides -1, and a-8. Can someone explain how you get to a-9? And can you really meditate non stop there?
I believe there is at least a few secrets left, but seeing as everything has been unlocked by the krypt.. how would you unlock them? Maybe theres a way to unlock more of the krypt. like everything after TT.

Am I the only person who thinks this would be the stupidest idea ever? Oooohhhh, amazing. I wirk my ass off to get two hundred more koffins full of stupid bullshit nobody wants, stop the presses. I only want two extra koffins, one for each Super Unlockable, assuming there are some (any more than two would be dumb).

Who cares what anyone thinks.Speculation is speculation. We will find out soon enough about if there is or isn't.The fun of trying to find secrets is where everyone is having a blast with.Don't rain on everyones parade just because you don't think they are there.I mean c'mon! How long did it take most people to realize that Reptile was an opponent you could fight in Mk1,better yet..when Mk2 first came out,I remember alot of people knew nothing of Shang tsungs Kintaro fatality untill months later.Same thing with fighting Jade and Smoke and Noob.Mk3,the ultimate code....you get the picture. So yes it can be quite possible they are in there,if not then fine, but it is more than possible.I would not put it past Midway to keep something from the public for a month or two.Glitch or no glitch,it can be meant for something i.e. Johnny cages 3 headed uppercut fatality. That's my 2 cents.

I think this thing works, and I will work on it once in a while. To the ppl who are too lazy to try it, well when there is proof, you'll still have to "waste your time" or do without. This is a game, its supposed to be hard. If ppl wanna do it, then encourage them, after all, it means you dont have to lift a finger to find out. Let them waste there time while you all use yours wisely laying on the couch.

Have anyone tried to get to
B-9, C-9, D-9.... H-9? I still believe it's a glitch, but try it out, change direction, maybe you can end up B-9... H-9 as well.
