Agreed, I like both of those characters and would like to see them return.

Quan Chi is just ruthless. I never found ripping off the leg of your opponent and continually beating him with it boring. I know I'm in the minority, but I liked the neck stretch too... it was definately different. Fatalities like that give him more personality than the other fighters.

Quan Chi is by far the coolest and more original character in the MK serie, Shang Tsung however is not the same without the morphing abilities I think.

But if I would be the developper of MKD Quan Chi would be the FIRST character that I would put in the game, with the living weapon and some of his MKM-MK4 moves he would be once again, one of the more popular character in the game.

I think Shang Tsung will die in the opening video, thus ending the Deadly Alliance. I want Quan Chi back, but it won't bother me if Shang Tsung isn't back. Only reason I like Shang Tsung is because he killed Liu Kang.

They must return! You really cannot have the game Deadly Aliance centered around them both and not have them return.

Both are integral to the plot and I hope to see them looking better than ever.

Shang definitely needs to come back...he's my favorite character (an my namesake no less). His return in MKDA was kinda disappointing because he had virtually no moves, and without morphs, he was just too different. If they were to bring him back, they would have to make him very powerful. He's a sorcerer...i'm sure he can come up with other things that shapeshifting.

No, because the baraka ending in MK GOLD never happened.

like the MKDA angle never happened with kung and Shang

One or both of them will prably return, since they are the main villians now. Ther jus prably wont be anymore alliance between them.

I am not trying to make any point. But Kunglao wanted vengeance badly enough. If he's smart he ended Shang's life after what he did to his friend
