That outfit is already a “Mileena Trademark”. They stopped with the stupid pallet swap (characters, costumes, powers, etc) crap a long time ago.
She would be a blue Mileena with no mask. Please no.
If she is to return (Jade, Mileena, Tanya and Sindel are enough, with those we don’t need her ) at least make her look different.
I really liked her hair in MKDA, so it would be nice if she kept that. As long as she looks nothing like Mileenas awesome new outfit, Im happy.

I think it would be great to see that. Having 24 characters (only one more than DA) doesnt seem like much improvement. The chess and puzzle games are fairly simple to implement, and konquest was done with a seperate team.
So there better be other characters

I wouldn't mind, it would be just like the old MK2 days. However if her alt was the same as Mileena's then that would be rather annoying.
I just think it'd be neat to have a face off between the two -- give me memories of playing as Mileena against my cousin while she was Kitana on the MK2 arcade.

I will be happy if Kitana is a Super Unlockable...but I would be disappointed if her attire is just a blue Mileena, even though it would sort of make sense to the story.
If that is the case, hopefully Kitana at least has her own moves. If she's a complete pallete swipe of Mileena, same moves too, then I'll be pissed.

I wouldnt mind. They are twins so i wouldnt care. As long as shes in the game and has her MKDA outfit as her alt I would be happy. And anyways in the storyline of MKD kitana was probably the one who wore that outfit first. Mileena just mimicked kitana's appearance to control her army, so it would make sense if she was a SU with that outfit as her primary. Some people overreact on issue in a negative way, which i find very dumb.

Yes, I'd be happy with that. It would fit the story...I mean, Mileena would HAVE To dress like Kitana to fool people into believing that she's Kitana right? So it makes sense that she'd have the same outfit. (Though, why EVERYONE else can't see through that transparent veil like we can I'll never understand. Her Fang face can easily be made out. I dunno...perhaps Outworld and Edenia need to install some eyecare centers? ) Anyway... as long as she were to come back with HER styles and her fans. (Or a new style to replace Eagle Claw. She'd be likely to have Ba Qua as it's alread in the game.) I'll be content. However, as said above, If she is a COMPLETE clone of Mileena Clothes, mOves and all, then I'd be a bit pissed and wonder what was the point?

That would be awsome if Kitana was unlockable. Her missing from the lineup was a big disappointment to me. I doubt Midway would just give her Mileena's outfit (with a color swap) and moves though.

The game without Kitana feels unbalanced like Da did without mileena. Those 2 should always be in every mk game there the female versions of scorpion and sub -zero there classics imo.

If she is unlockable, I hope that she has a completely original outfit or the ones from Deadly Alliance. I really like Mileena's look in Deception, but I would rather have Kitana look original than be Mileena's palate swap (though it would be fitting since Mileena was Kitana's palate swap in three games).
However...if she is in fact a playable character, I really don't care all that much; I'll be extremely happy regardless of what she wears.

personally i hated kitana from DA but from the other games she was so-so
and it would make sense for her to have a bluw mileena outfit, and it would be cool because it would be sort of retro mk with the female ninjas all same costume-diff. colors thing. but in konquest mode, she had the DA look didnt she?

I wouldnt mind it at all. Without the veil it looks different, but similar, and the blue looks really good in those endings. I'm not sure why people get so worked up over small things like this. Be happy with the damn game as it is. If there are no more unlockables, does it make it that muh less of a game?
People loved DA until they realized there wasn't anything else to unlock. Thats pretty sad. MKDA is still one of the only fighters I still play to this day (well, not as much now that MKD is out).
If it came down to it, I wouldn't care one bit if Kitana is in a blue version of Mileena's outfit. Afterall, Mileena is supposed to be impersonating Kitana, so who technically had the dress in the first place? Hmmm?

I agree completely!! It was nice bringing Tanya back though, even though I like her with shorter hair better. I liked MK3 Jade as well with her hair up. Anyways, having Kitana in this game would almost be too many girls. But I'd welcome her into my copy of Deception.

I like Mileena's outfit better on kitana, and I like it alot better it alot better then kitana's MK:DA outfit.

Yeah I made a thread about this in the past too, and generally people were ok with Kitana having 'Mileena's' outfit, as long as she her own alternate, special moves and styles from DA (maybe a new one since Ashrah has Ba Gua).
But technically, the outfit isn't Mileenas. Mileena's whole story is that she dresses like Kitana to fool everyone, so the outfit would have to have been Kitana's in the first place, so it is technically Mileena ripping off Kitana and not the other way round.
I'd just be happt to have Kitana back.

Just a quick question. What colour is Mileena's palette swap?

Mileena was a purple colour swap of Kitana in Mortal Kombat 2, 3, UMK3 and Trilogy.

I personally dont care if its a pallete swap or not but you all keep talking like Mileena fooled them with what she was wearing and she obviously wore something else unless everyone is color blind.
Pink/Purple to blue is quite a change dont you think?

Personally, I'm not a great fan of her, but if Kitana is SU in MKD, I hope she will have her own costums, cause I don't want a palette swap comeback... :/

In Mk2 they planned to make 3 female ninjas: Kitana, Mileena and Jade.
The 3 of them appeared at the same time in the same game, which means, none is a “pallet swap” of the other. Because of memory stuff, they were all alike.
So technically, they are all pallet swaps, but none is a pallet swap from the other.
Mk2, MkU, and MKT had the 3, looking the same, in the same games, at the same time.
