Not a bad idea except that the hooks serve as an "accesory" or a secondary weapon. He needs a primary weapon, good concept though.

Mavado should have a unique Red Dragon sword like Jarek, because he had a Black |Dragon sword and it looked cool.

I like any of those as weapons for Mavado. I personally would have Kabal return with a new weapon or something like a chainsaw.

I like the whip chain idea. I'm actually studying it myself. I've already cut my arms a couple of times.lol. It's a very difficult weapon to use, but it's one of the most versatile. I'd also like to see Mavado have a spinning blade like the one Blade uses in the beggining of the first movie. It's that thing that shoots around that room and decapitates all of the vampires, then returns to Blades hand. Except Mavado would hold it in the center, and it would have three blades on it. He'd have two of them, once for each hand. They'd act like a long range throwing weapon and a short range hand to hand weapon.

If he keeps Wing Chun as a style, I think he should have Butterfly Knives, which are traditional with Wing Chun. I know Kano already has these, but he can be given something... different.

He should have Hsu Hao's old Sun Moon's (HAHAHAHA BECAUSE THE FAT BASTARD IS DEAD!!!).
