About Raiden's ending.

Now that WB owns Midway I think we can safely assume that MKvs.DCU 2 will happen at some point in the not too distant future. But per usual, I doubt any of the endings will have any effect on the next installment.

Anyhoo, the endings in this game are too screwing for the designers to latch on to.

Catwoman turning into a Panther is too obvious, and is a knock-off of Orchid turning into a Jaguar.

Sub-Zero becoming a "vigilante" like Batman is far beyond stupid, for what would he be a vigilante of, exactly?

Kano going bananas over Shang Tsung makes no sense when they were fighting side by side two seconds ago. If that was the case, he would've been screaming "Death to Shang Tsung" even when Sonya stepped in to stop the fight.

Instead of Liu Kang becoming some lightning warrior, he should've died.

Sonya's ending is the only one that's really good for something. She's not a supernatural being, so the use of this ring would only make sense for her.

Jax's, Sonya's, Batman's, Baraka's and Raiden's, and hopefully with Konquest :)

Sooo the Tarakatans is killing everything in the MK world, and the MK heroes returns to the DCU universe for their help, then they end up seperated from the warps and must reunite.

Fighting threw Batman's portal bots (which fights off those from other universes", they meet up with Batman. After explain what happened in the MK universe, Batman gathers Green Lantern and the Flash to report to his base. Soon after, Baraka sees a unclosed portal to the DCU and commands all the tarakatan to go threw the portal, now in DCU, and is destroying everything in their path.

Lui Kang, Kintana and Sonya searches out to find Raiden for help when they see a robot, which turns out to be the mechanicalized Jax Briggs, fighting off the tarakatan. So they fight off the tarakatan, Jax goes crazy and runs off. Mooooving on, Liu, Kin and Sonya finds Raiden in the moutains, and after explaining the proble, Raiden tells them he already knew but cannot do anything about it because he is now a mortal.

I really don't see why it's stupid. Could you elaborate? Personally if there was a superhero in my town I'd love for it to be Sub-Zero.

I'd rather them have a prologue recapping the events of the first game, and creating an original ending that leads into the 2nd, negating the need to rely on any specific character's ending.
