But Scorpion killed Sub-Zero in MK1. Yeah, Sub-Zero now lives in the form of Noob-Saibot, a powerful dark demon of the Netherealm, but Scorpion was already taken revenge......
But, perhaps, Scorpion considers that his revenge wasn't completed absolutely, or his new mission is stop Noob Saibot, being fought both by the control of the Netherealm, while Sub-Zero with his Lin Kuei and his allies faces the army of cyber-demons like Smoke under the command of Noob Saibot.
Well, these are 2 possibles storylines, because my bet about MK7 is that will have wars in all the realms, caused by characters like Havik, Shao Kahn, Black Dragon, Noob Saibot, Raiden, Vampires, Onis and other new or resurrected menaces

I'm guessing that Scorpion doesn't yet know Noob Saibot was the Sub-Zero that killed him which is interesting since I'm sure they had to have run into each other if not during MK3 then MK4 because they're both from the Netherealm.
Noob apparently has no grudge against Scorpion because he likes being a wraith...or he's simply waiting for the right time to get revenge.
I think it'll be interesting to see how Scorpion reacts when he finds out who Noob really is.
I imagine the current Sub-Zero will try to fight Noob because Noob's evil. But I doubt it'll be easy for him to fight his brother.
One character's reaction I'm looking forward to is Sareena's. It was sort of hinted in mythologies that she and Sub-Zero liked each other.
But she hated Quan Chi and Shinnok and as Noob Saibot he was their most loyal servant. She also hates the Brotherhood and the Netherealm and he's running the Brotherhood and trying to take over the Netherealm now.
I'm looking forward to seeing where this may go.

I'm more anxious to see Noob-Saibot go after Scorpion, you would ASSUME they've crossed paths before...but we can't literally make that assumption, it's now a new plot element, given the true identity of Noob.
It will be interesting, because Scorpion has ALWAYS been the hunter, and now, he could be the hunted, which is something, storylinewise, we're not accustomed to seeing, he's always been the predator and aggressor.
