It's a new male shokan, and surely he will be playable.......... well, that says the rumors......

I can already see it now. Probably something along the lines of....

Kitana and Goro had become best friends and brought peace between their two races. Durac, brother of Goro and Sindel, mother of Kitana, set out to stop the Dragon King as a team, Durac wanting revenge for his brother's death at the hands of Noob, and Sindel wanting to rescue her daughter Kitana from the cluthes of the Dragon King.

That was on the cartoon, which has nothing to do with the game's plot in any way. See as Goro in the game's plot has become more noble like in later installments, I doubt Midway would have him do the cowardly act he did to Durac in the cartoon.

As for the Shokan's appearence, I'll be fine with any look just as long a he/she doesn't look like an identical twin to Goro or Sheeva, like the shokans seen lowering Goro's body into the lava on Kitana DA ending. Maybe one with a different species hybrid, like Kintaro was part-tiger. The new shokan could still be a brother of Goro's, seeing how shokan royality like many wives.
