Ooh, heres a fanfic story on how Lara Croft would fit in.

For any upcoming onslough, the earth warriors would have to stick together thought Sonya and she helped the woman back to Raiden, where he helped her restore her health. She told that she had been ambushed by a team of armed warriors and left to die. She held a debt to Sonya and followed her into battle against future upcoming threats. Although she didn't know of Mortal Kombat, she was a forgotten chosen fighter, she knew that something wasn't right and would do anything to set Earth realm straight again. Lara Croft had joined forces with Raidens warriors.
