Well two of my top three is back, in playable sense, is Subby and Smoke. Unfortunatly Shao Kahn won't be playable....man I'm soo bumed out

im sad that Shao kahn isnt playble but i guess we just have to move on but hes coming back eaither in someones story

If Kitana is not in this game, mileena or sindel or tanya will be my favorite character. those 3 are sexy and deadly.

My fav back its Scorpion, Noob and Sub..but i would have like to see reptile back in ninja form

I am happy with pretty much everyone, The only thing I'm bummed about is that Sonya's not around. She is may all time fav Mk Character....Hmmmm...I'm guessing Tanya will by Sonya "place holder" till MK7

I'm bummed that Sonya,Jax and Kung-Lau but I am siked for Kabal and Baraka and of course Scorp and Subby and I wondering why NightWolf?? Oh yeah I forgot Chamelion and stryker

Well, my top three characters all made it back, but if for some reason Smoke didn't make his way into the game, I guess my choice for new current favorite would be Ermac. I love his design, and I've always liked his character, and his story looks like it will really shine in this installment.

But I mainly choose Ermac because I haven't seen Kabal yet. I'm sure he'll will be extremely impressive.

Well I am very excited about the prospect of SEKTOR however Raiden and Nitara were my other 2 favourites.

Perhaps Kira will be a good character or Nightwolf. They are the 2 others I am interetsed in. Also Ashrah (spelling).

I wanted Frost to return,but I didn't want her back that much.I'm not bummed out that she didn't make it.Since she's gone,Mileena might become my favorite female fighter.I'm glad to see a lot of the classic characters are getting a second chance.I'm eager to play as Noob Saibot and Ermac;I'm sure they'll have some wicked fatalitys.

BTW,has anyone noticed my new sig?

If Kitana doesn't come back to this game, then my favorite will be Mileena. They're pretty much clones anyway ;)...except for the teeth.

Hmm, you're getting warmer. Basically, I figured the thread was asking who would be your knew character if your favorite didn't return. But my favorite did return, so I have to pretend for a second that he didn't so I could answer the question. So in a nutshell: if Smoke wasn't in this game, I'd pick Kabal or Ermac.

Well basically all of my favorite characters have returned except a few. So for being my new facorites... I have my eye on Ashrah, Skab and the new Shokan that may or may not have been confirmed.

My favourite is, and always will be, Kitana. I also like Kung Lao and Reptile. If any of them are back then they will be my favourite.
So far it's looking like Sindel will be my favourite tho. She was my favourite in MK3 and joint favourite with Kitana, Reptile and Kung Lao.
Im also looking forward to Sareena. (If she's in)

well its not looking likely that any of my favourite characters will be playable in this one (johnny cage, sonya, raiden, kung lao) but mileena, sindel, subzero, tanya and scorpion have always been high on my list so it'll be one of those

Alot of my favorites are back. Most notably (obviously) Baraka. Kabal is another one of my favorites, then Smoke, Mileena (I've always liked her more than Kitana), Scorpion, and Liu Kang. So I'm about 95% satisfied as it is.

I still would've liked to have seen Reptile return in ninja form, although MK:D certainly isn't short on ninjas! Still, I kinda would've preferred to see him instead of Noob. But oh well, I know that Noob has his fans as well. I also would've liked to have seen Kai return. It would've been cool to see what they would've done with a capoiera fighting style with him. Also, it would've been nice to have seen Mavado back. I liked the ropes idea that he had, I just wish that they'd done more with it. It also would've been nice to see Sektor, who still could possibly be in, if the rumors are correct.

As for who I'd play instead. Well, I have my two favs already in Baraka and Kabal. I also think that Ermac looks sweet. I'm definitely curious about Hotaru and Dairou. I'm curious about their stories, how they relate to one another, and how they'll play. I think having Samouri's is an awesome idea. I'm also curious about Skab. He could be cool in spite of his name. I'm also tentatively excited about Kira.

Well baraka and kabal im surprised are in this game is awesome i thought they were never going to be in another mk game thats awesome i still hope that reptile is back mk NEEDS REPTILE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Things are looking pretty bad for my fav character in the MK world,Frost. From what I've seen back from past MKs, I would have to go with Kabal,Sub-zero,or Scorpion.

Scorpion and Noob are back so worries there. Since Kitana won't be appearing I'm going with Sareena. I've had hopes for Sareena for while now.
