IGN just posted a progress report on the game.

It goes into detail about the Story Mode - the DC side specifically.

Story Mode should take about 6 hours for each side.

and some of the BEST news includes Baraka and Lui Kang's FATALITIES!
it was cool to see Baraka climb on top of the Joker's beaten body and send his blades through the clown's chest for a Fatality. The best thing I saw? One of Liu Kang's two Finishers calls an original Mortal Kombat arcade cabinet from the air to crush his opponent.

I can't believe they gave Liu Kang that Fatality. So much for going for dark, gritty, and serious.

I heard about the arcade drop at the midway boards. What a fuckin joke! who likes that fatality? out of all the badass fatalities Liu has, they gave the absolute worst in his arsenal. Another disappointment from the mk team, thank you very much.

His dragon better be the other fatality.

It does kind of suck they gave him that fatality....but, hopefully it looks fun and cool. I kind of liked it in MK3, but I only took it as a joke, reason why I kind of disliked it as well.

Hopefully it rocks.

I didnt read any of the story spoilers. I rather be surprised. smile

I fucking hate that fatality. I like stupid fatalities in general, as a fan Quan Chi's neck stretch and so on. But Liu Kang's arcade drop is borderline breaking the fourth wall like Mokap was.

Whatever.
