IGN Releases Fighter Of The Wiik Video Featuring Meat!

A Pretty Meaty Update!

IGN has released the second video in what appears to be a new tradition, celebrating the release of Mortal Kombat: Armageddon on the Wii console. The next "Fighter Of The Wiik" the video is all about Meat. As with the last video, there is commentary from MK team members Steve Beran, John Vogel, and Ed Boon. The video is very similar to the "Trading Kards" from the previous MK games, as details about Meat's storyline, design, special moves (using the Wiimote), and other background information is provided. Also mentioned: Meat's secret cousin, Skully, who never quite made it into the games!

Cool vid, I like the demo of how to use him.

The bio more on him is interesting, I like Skully lol.

They should just call him Skull though if you ask me.

Wouldn't you simply be able to download or stream the video in less time than waiting for someones reply? Its not like you need to pay for the video, or that there could be some terribly dire consequence.

If Im taking the time to ask instead of doing what you said, its obvious (by pure logic) that the answer is no. Besides the slow internet connection, I wasn’t even in my state.

The Fighter of the Wiik videos are similar to the ones released on the bonus(?) disc for MKA. Thus, nothing new story wise about the character is revealed. It does give a few marginal details about his design and his MK4 origin (nothing you couldn't figure for yourself). So all in all nothing new, besides a joke about his cousin

To queve: Yeah, that's pretty much it...unless you want to by the Prima Guides' bio that states "Meat is a fun character who serves Shinnok."

Meat sucks but his bio was explained in his ending? What the hell? Ok and whats this shit about him escaping before he was completed? Was he some sort of bloody skeleton that Shinnok was gonna transform into one of his generals or something?

Yeah, he's a bigger joke of a character than Mokap is.

No, his bio isn't explained in his ending. It's just that his backstory is explained in his ending, namely him being an experiment of Shang Tsung's who escaped the flesh pits before he could be completed.
