if you don't like the character's fatality, then don't use them, simple as that!

Kira's slice fatality definitely needs some work. How about starting off with the spinning double slice that she does now followed by some precision cuts to the arms and legs. Then she kicks and the torso flies back while the limbs and head just fall to the ground. As it stands now though, it is a pretty lame fatality. Her 2nd fatality is pretty good though.
Ashrah's "magic" fatality is ok...it's just kind of blah. The voodoo doll fatality isn't bad but it would be better IMO if she sliced off the doll's limbs instead of just stabbing it. Finishing by slicing off the head would make it complete.
Bo Rai Cho's fart fatality is just really lame...especially when he speaks at the end.
Anyway, I think these vids came from an older build of the game so hopefully there's been a good deal of improvement/touching up.

How in the world can Bo Rai Cho have trained Shujinko and not have aged one bit???? could there be a tie to flagalance being the fountain of youth? I mean he farts like 10 times a round and does not age a bit LOL...Shujinko should have eaten his beans

I liked the fatalities because they were MK style...i mean cmon a fatality is a fatality and at least they have 2 now. boraicho seems too comical but he actually fits into the whole MK thing by being a comical teacher...who ever heard of that? NOBODY! which is exactly my point, his origionality give him his place in MK. also Kira being a fused version of kano and sonya doesnt mean they are both dead, it just means that yes midway did get a little lazy but hey who cares its better that it only takes up 1 slot than 2 with moves so that we can have an extra character! cmon people you gotta be more optimistic! lol its just a game let the creaters do their job and just get ready for the tidal wave of deception!

Yes, that math is correct but I don't get why you would put that there. One of those one hundreds represents nothing. Is that the rate in which the natural and gradual destruction of one's body occurs? The average human does not live for one hundred years so it's not that simple of an equation. Not to mention you have to take into fact that her current age would be what, the equivalent of a woman in her mid to late 20's? So that would also have to be taken into account.

They aren't destroying the MK franchise. They're keeping it true to its roots.

However, to be the devil's advocate, I don't think he should have spoken. That was a bit over the top.

I don't know guys. I mean the hilarity of Bo pales in comparison to the MK staff discussing the gameplay (for certain characters). I'm mean they say stuff like "Well they are really powerful and...like have a lot of moves...which...are very fast or something...so yeah combos and stuff."

Oh, and stevodastoppa, the comical teacher/comical drunken master is not a new thing. Been done, if not overdone in the genre. But hey, people can like him or hate him. But the guy has made it into 2 MK games already, and I don't think he's going away too soon. So learn to live with him in the roster.

I agree, Shadaloo. I'm not a Bo' Rai Cho fan, but he definitely fits into the universe. He has a point to being in the game.

i do indeed find humor in the mk team talking about the fighters. the guy that was talking about ashrah and all her fun magical moves because they are magical and he...um...likes magic...i wonder if he will think she is still magical after he finally gets laid.

For all those that are complaining about Kira being a mix of two previously used characters:
If your that hard on Midway for doing that to Kira, if your also a Tekken fan you should be no stranger to this practice as Namco seems to do this regularly. Just think of Lee who has Laws' moves, Armor King who has some of Kings' moves, Anna who has Ninas' moves, Wang and Julia who both share Michelles moves, all those Jack clones ect. I could keep going but I'm sure you get the point.
Even though Tekken has all of these cloned characters it still remains a great game and each character is just different enough to feel like a new character. So don't stress out over that as I'm sure Kira will be fine and fun to use . About the fatalities, they are all fine to me. Maybe its because I don't hold them in such high regard as many of you do. I focus mainly on tricky game play mechanics and combo set ups to defeat other players. But everyone is different and each individual finds what they like about a game and focuses on it .
