Hey there! has anyone bought or tried the iguide to MKD? I'm trying to find it here in canada. I saw the Bradygames guide and thought this iguide to be a better purchase. Thoughts?

Specifically...iGuides are not that great. They don't provide a lot of useful information. Their videos simply show the basic combos for characters, no unique strategies, just lame stuff like, "Mix up high and low attacks." Really, it's common sense stuff. If you're a beginner, the iGuide would be helpful, but it's not for those that know how to play fighting games in general. Their crib sheets are just printouts of the move lists...no custom combos or anything.
Oh, and the BradyGames guide is even worse...the movelists contain loads of errors...so, if you're looking to absolutely get one or the other, then get the iGuide. If you can do without a guide, I would suggest you not get either.

Personally, I own both b ecause I have every MK printed guide since the first one when they came out included in Game Mags.....
BUT if you're wanting it to learn character shit with, then your best bet is to stick to the boards here because it has an infinite more amount of kontent to learn from....
I, for one, will NOT be buying an IGuide again, waste of 12 bucks and shelf space....It makes a better drink coaster.
