just cuz they say they'll put it out that date doesn't mean they'll even have it on that date. I'm an old school gamer and you don't know how many times I've gone to a store the day they told me to and get a "yeah, it'll be here in a little over a week" or something.

Hmm... according to mapquest it's about an hour away from me... I'll call friday... if they tell me they have it in their hands, then I'll consider taking the drive.

I went up to Toys R Us today and they said they'll have it on the 1st and that they will immediately have it to sell after they recieve the shipment. I'll be picking that up after school and will, at last, get my dirty hands on Mileena. What sucks is, I have it preordered in 2 other places and have to cancel them and get my money back from one of them, lol.

Mine said all he could figure out was that it was sometime in october.
The Toys R Us this guy listed did in fact say the 1st, so come Friday I guess we'll see how this plays out.

Okay, I just called another Toys R Us (Schaumburg IL) and the man said, "I really can't say, but if it's in the magazine, then my best guess would be 2 to 3 months"

I've already paid off my Premium Pack in full at EB, so it sucks to see that I can't cheat like some of you will be doing.

I have my game on reserve at a Gamestop. After looking at this thread and I looked up the Premium pack for PS2 and this is what it said:

Sucks to be whoever reserved the premium pack at Toys R Us.

Wow, this could be awesome, could be something to look forward too this friday!!!
Also, don't forget trying to get the game from the little run of the mill stores, that you find in busy areas...they can break the release dates...probably alot easier than Toys R Us and Target can, since they're not that easy to keep track of, not a huge chain,etc.

Friday, Monday, Tuesday, whatever. I'm going to pick it up soon, and since I'm working until next Friday and wont get to play it then, I don't care what time you get it. I know others don't feel this way, but as long as I get the game I'll be happy.

I just called the Toys R Us this guy listed again, and they said that though they are scheduled to release the game tomorrow, they haven't yet gotten it, and so it may come tomorrow, or it may come later in the week.
This is the same thing that my Toys R Us told me when I called them earlier today.
Apparently Toys R Us was expected to have it tomorrow, but thus far hasn't gotten it, so if it comes in tommorow, they'll sell it, and if not, they'll get it later.
Either way, once again, I just called your Toys R Us, and it would appear you have been misinformed.

I did call walmart here where i live and they said that they get games on a wednesday so even if it is the day after the game comes out they still cant sell it til the very next week.Odd huh

It's time for the shops who've been promising the game to people to own up that they got the date wrong after all! We'll know for sure TODAY!
(This sort of thing is likely to happen every time a speculated release date comes up, we'll find out who the false rumour spreaders are - the heat is on!)
