Im still think the game speed in MK:D is too slow...

I now they have increased the game speed, but from the movies it still looks pretty slow, i want to feel like im playing a faster paced MK game like from some of the classics (MK1-MK3). I guess ill just have to wait until its release.

The human body in a fight already moves much slower than the fighters in MKD. You should be happy that its a realistic fighting game rather than "Super charge happy fun turbo fighters!!!"

I like the way it is. It's more like real life. I wouldn't want them to be like super fast and have the ability the move their limbs like their freakin super heroes.

The speed they throw punches and kicks are fine... But the time it takes those attacks to recover for the next move or block is just recockulous!
That's where speed should be looked at.

Having an option to increase/decrease speed wouldn't be too great. Think about the timing issues people would have when trying to fight one another.. One would be used to a slower game while the other would be used to a very fast game. Sorry, it just wouldn't work.
As for the game being fast, the gamespeed isn't bad at all. It isn't the speed at which the game plays, it's the recovery time after moves..
A good comparison would be the Dead or Alive series.. The characters all have animations that let them transition from one move to another. It allows for a much smoother game experience. That's why most people have complaints about game speed, you don't notice the difference until it's gone.

I agree. It's more the recovery time than anything. I don't mind it at all though. I liked the fast pace of mk3, but I liked mkda so much more because it seemed like there was more meaning behind each punch, kick, sidestep, etc. that you performed because it wasn't just hitting buttons as fast as possible w/o making an error. I preferred the slightly slower gamespeed because it seemed to provoke more thought.

You're right, it does require more thought. This is when we compare MKDA to MK3, though. If you compare Mortal Kombat to different 2D fighters, you will find that you can have the thought AND the speed. (See Guilty Gear)

I disagree. It WOULD work because everyone who has played Deadly Alliance is already used to the slower game speed, and everyone who has played the 2-D Mortal Kombat games are used to the faster gameplay. So it's not really an issue of who's used to what.
That is an issue that would have to be discussed and worked out between the two players, though - and quite frankly - like I said before, everyone who has played Deadly Alliance should be used to the slower game speed by now. The game speed in Deception is faster than Deadly Alliance's speed, so what would be the problem to toggle between Deception's faster game speed and Deadly Alliance's slower game speed? I see no problem there.
And if you are playing a one player arcade game, the option to turn the game speed to normal or faster would be a cool feature - for me, atleast.
It wouldn't hurt to have the option there - if you would want to use it.

And the game wouldn't be "very fast".
Deception's game speed isn't "very fast".
Just a minor enhancement to Deadly Alliance's game speed....
That's all.
No super lighting-fast Marvel Vs Capcom gaming speed thang going on, dude.

Being able to toggle speed up/down isn't exactly the problem... It's when two fighters fight one another.
There would be incredible timing issues because someone would be forced to fight on a setting he/she was not used to fighting with.. It just wouldn't be worth adjusting to the difference.
You're right, it would be a nice feature considering only single player play.. But when you start thinking multiplayer (two or even online) then you might run into a lot of problems.

They have definitly increased the Frame Rate for a smoother motion. Speed is slightly quicker too.
It looks like they have improved the interaction. They each have a different and unique action when they get punched or kicked. Like the head whipping back.
