Since they said super unlockables can be unlocked in konquest does this mean that only those secret characters are unlockable there and the other characters are from the krypt or othe rmodes??

Good info....finally. However, now that I think about it, I hope the death trap fatalities are not easy to do, since we have the option of turning them off. If they are easy to do, it's just gonna be a cheap way to win. I mean, death traps are badass, but I hope they don't interfere THAT MUCH with the gameplay to where we have to turn them off so that we can play a decent match.

I feel like an asshole. For the longest time, I promised people there would be 24 default characters, and now I realize there will only be twelve.

I'm guessing some of the "super-dupers" could be DA characters. Kano, Sonya, Kung Lao..

If not, I welcome any kind of surprises.

And... reality strikes in. Only 12 fighters by default. I don't think there will be more than 2 or 3 super hidden fighters. So much for all these "There will be 30 + bajillion fighters in MKD, including everyone from MKDA & the recording artists on the movie soundtracks!"

I think 12 at the beginning is too few, and I hope unlocking them isn't a chore.

Temp - It's ok. If it makes you feel better, I never believed you.
I stuck to my gut feeling that the E3 character select screen would be the final character select screen. And when you've got a gut like me, you listen to it.
And yes, there will be a torrent of secret characters. In fact, at 12+ that's the most in any MK game to date. I still stand by my prediction of 26-28 playable characters overall.

I am still wondering if Pencak Silat will be featuring in Mortal Kombat series someday.

i've never seen this deadly martial art style show up in a fighting game before.

i think Reptile, Scorpion and Kenshi will be the perfect characters to perform this style.

There is "silate" as a style in the game.(Someone at Midway can't spell Harakiri either -it's not hari kari!)
However,silt/Penchak silat/seni silat is not a style but rather an umbrella term for many styles.
Approx 750 silat offical styles in Indonesia,450 in Malaysia.

So "silate" could be any of those many often very different styles.
