but seriously, i saw about 2 minutes of the video (was afraid it would show too much thereafter) and what i saw i liked...i mean i LOVED! GOOD JOB BOON!

my only gripe? its early still yet, but in the first round between Scorpion and Sindel, they fought on a platform, and got close to the edge....
i kept waiting for someone to fall off, but it DIDNT HAPPEN i mean, it looked as if there was an invisible barrier or something keeping sindel form falling off...
maybe scorpion (Boon) did'nt do the proper move to knock her off the stage, or maybe it wasnt a multi-tierd stage like that...but the intro to the stage showed a bottom floor, so NO
im convinced there are only certain spots in the stage that you CAN knock opponents off

I still think there is a possibility for ACTUAL Stage Fatals. You either have to type in a button combination, or you just have to do a pop-up move when it says "Finish Him". I haven't seen the video yet. It won't stream for some reason. And downloading that MASSIVE file on a dial-up connection would kill me. I KNEW the Pit would return though. I hope somebody can post a cap from the vid. I wanna see it in 3-D!

If you saw that first 2 minutes youd know what i mean. I went ahead and watched it again to be sure, and sure enough there hapened to be a few instances within the fight where going down a level SHOULD have happened.

its not a death trap or stage fatality either, that i am refering to, its transitioning form one part of a stage to another...

like breaking through the wall in the beetle lair

or

falling off the top of the roof in the sky temple

Oh! My bad. I get what you're saying now. I just wish I could see this video. sad It probably is because it's still early though. I can't see the game having a stage where it would LOOK like you could fall to another level, but, actually cannot. Hopefully I'll be able to see this soon enough. Did you see The Pit in the first 2 minutes you watched? If so, how did it look? It's funny.... I want to see everything about this game, yet at the same time.... I do NOT.

NO Prob! its cool. I watched a little more the second time and there was a pit,

***SPOILER**** dont look below if you dont want to

it was the crumble floor stage, the one with all dirt and the sides start breaking off, really quickly too if i might add. This first round only lasted like 15 seconds, boon knocked ermac off the side really quickly as like a ring out, and ermac fell onto a huge spike. I didnt watch all of it and i look up thining it was done and when i did, the camera was below ermac looking up at him as he sqirmed on the spike, flaring his arms and shit.

IT WAS GREAT!

I must say that minus a few nit picking things that I have posted (Sub-Zero's "old man over night" plot-line/design-choice, for example), I am very pleased with what I am seeing overall.

The video was great and I continue to have high hopes for MK:D. smile

Damn, i was all pumped for the game until Boon mentioned that the only things that will be available online are the mini games and that the online Tournament will come in MK7. Thing of it is, i want to play this one online and im sure they are gonna change a few things such as the line-up. What a bummer man, im all depressed now sad

I don't want a bigger movelist Boon. I want a reason to use more than
10% of the ones you've given me. Fix MK with Move Properties.

Lat: He meant that the normal fighting mode and mini games will be online. Tournament mode, used for keeping track of brackets, overall winners, and ratings will not be included however.

I also think there are just certain spots where you can knock somebody to the next area. If you see, sequence is always the same, so it's pre-programmed then. I think it's not going to be really easy to knock somebody a floor down.

And did you heard it about the hari kari moves??? They gonna be different. Somebody pulling their own heart, or breaking there on leg ( althought i don't know how you could die from a broken leg ). But hei, there different, that's what everyone wanted, yes.

Grtz,

Whoa buddy, calm down! The way you made it seem was that you would love to play oldschool MK online. I was just mentioning there is already a way. Yea, I admit my post was sarcastic, but no need to get nasty. Damn noobs think you own the board.

yeah I agree chill out dude, you wanted to play MK2 online so with mame you can do that.. why the fuzz??
damn and boon said that the hara kari moves are when you win the round.. that doesn't make sense does it? But boon said it in the interview.. BTW, is it possible that fatalities where disabled in the E3 build because mileena just stood there watching.. not even a punch.. but oh well.. I'm realy excited about this game.. but I would rather see some more ingame action like those combo breakers and throws there talking about.. I get the feeling with puzzle en chess like "seen it, move on"..
