I'm thinking that the red flashes indicate counter hits. In the Hotaru vs Ashrah video about 45 seconds into the fight Ashrah performs her spinning dash move but Hotaru hits her before she can pull it off. Around 1:11 into the fight Hotaru swings his weapon but is hit by ashrah before his attack connects. There are other times this seems to happen in the video.

Oh....hello......jayboh.

Well no, the fatalities don't make or break the game with me. But MKD's almost carbon-copy of MKDA's fighting mechanics, along with it's lack of special move, fighting style, fatality, and character creativity? Well, that certainly is.

I agree with you on everything except the lack of fighting styles part - they stated they increased it.

Since I've seen this fatality trailer for the first time, I watch it at list 30 times a day. I can't get enough of it! Having to wait until October makes me feel even more anxius. I berely sleep! Why do WE have to wait for so long! This is worst than a labor!

That is a great idea. He should scalp his victims.
