You should Contact Midway again and ask them if there will be FMV endings.

Ummm, no offense to the mods, but this was a retarted question.

Why does a fighting game need system link? You can play on the same tv with no split screen required, so why would you need to do a system link? The whole reason to have system link capability was for games that use split screen so that players are able to get bigger screen visibility.

I doubt any other fighting game in the future will have this option either. It would be pointless for a fighting game.

Am I wrong here?

Mr. Silvers:

I remember reading a couple months back that there is a way to make the bombs invisible so your opponent cant see them, you just have to know where your placing them by counting from where you made them invisible. Make it invisible, move it up 3 and right 2, I know where it is but he doesn't.

Personally, I agree that on the face of it, it is a pointless question.

The reason it was asked was because with the system link capability, users could possibly have used software like X-Box Connect or other tunnelling software to do online gaming. Without system link, we now know the only online options are Live and GameSpy.

Hope this helps...

Like the warp-pipe for the Gamecube for example. The program itself uses the lan enabled game to play online, but it only works for wireless ISPS.

So it wasn't a pointless question.

As long as we don't get a "The Yellow button on the X-Box controller is still gonna be attack 2" news article with tons of pictures of the button and video confirmation.

But will you be able to play your friend that you do not want to use with Xbox Live with that lives a state over.

Another question would be: Can you play to another Xbox directly online?
Maybe they should have asked about the mkda final secret to just put the thing to bed.

DarqueBishop:

Ahh good point about the tunneling software, I didn't think of that. Guess we'll all have to use Live/gamespy, then. At least ps2 online is free, I might buy it for ps2 just for that reason.

Stupid Microsoft.

I hate to sound like a hjerk, but d'uh. MK's a two player only game. The internet wtill makes sense, but system linking would be stupid--there's no need. 2-16 players for halo when linked. MK? Only 2.
