| Scott-Howell Wrote: Though we can't clarify this as being finalized, EBGames.com appears to have grabbed the latest artwork for the back of the Xbox console version of Mortal Konbat: Deception. It contains the latest pitch line, "It will Konsume You!", as well as featuring a render of Scorpion's alternative classic outfit, which we first gave you a glance of during our coverage last month of Midway Summer Gamers' Day. Limited Editions of Mortal Kombat: Deception are running at $59.99 USD for preorder, while standard editions will sell for $49.99 USD. Both are set for a release on October 4th, 2004, with a ship date of September 30th for Brady Games' official strategy guide with a $14.99 USD price tag. Thanks goes out to Mortal Kombat Online member mkda??? for the news lead. |

I'm glad they pushed the strategy Guide back 2 days. Closer to the game. Cheers.
The 'both' they refer to is the regular and Kollector's editions. Then it says the ship date for the guide is Sept. 30. All the same. We'll have them soon, but not soon enough.

Anyone notice how it says ''Hari Kiris'' as opposed to ''Hari Karis''?
Or is ''Kiris'' the correct terminology??

when was the game confirmed to be in 5.1 sound? Sounds fishy. Although I could swear parts of MKDA were in 5.1, but maybe my reciever was turning to Pro Logic II.

Well, hello MKOnline.
One thing I noticed about the back art is that it says it's HDTV 400p. Well if that's true then WOOT. MKDA does not support HDTV at all, and if you've ever played soul calibur 2 on an HDTV you know how much nicer the game looks. I might have to go drop 3K on a new TV.
Can't wait to get this game.

"Kiris" is the correct spelling for the word. Don't you think that they would look in the dictionary IF they didn't know how to spell a word that is going to be on the cover!?
Peace.
