Thanks for the info. I was expecting the thing to have look like it is on fabric or stone. Scorpion looks great. We have only seen 2 costumes but someone said they saw a third.

im glad this mortal kombat on xbox supports dolby digital, because deadly alliance didnt. its gonna be nice to hear this game like i was in a movie theatre , of course now i really need to go get that av adapter for it. prologic II did good in reproducing the sound tho . also, did everyone notice the online features on the cover? it looks like the ps2 and xbox versions might have the same online features. hopefully we will find out (not that it matters for me anyway).

The guide is coming out on the first? If the shipping date is the 30th then its the first. Which sucks because it was originally supposed to be released on the 28th of this month.

When MK:DA rolled out, the strategy guide ruined the game for me. It was no fun because there were no secrets. So as of September 30, I'm avoiding any MK news source for a week or two. I want to discover things, rather than have them spelled out for me.

I hope this MK really manage to bring old-mk memories back, I mean, the one felt while playing then. If so, I should be getting Midway Arcade Treasure 2 as well; that, if the GameCube MKD version won't be holding ports of MK1 and MK2 .

looks like better sound and higher resolutions for for xbox. Made up my mind which version to get

All games are required to have dolby digital for xbox not one game on xbox does not.

I very well intend to let it Komsume me when it comes out.! As for the stratagy guide I can understand how people don't want things spelled out for them on how to unlock the secrets, but I for one plan to compete very heavily in MK:D when it is released. And I plan to take it very seriously. I plan on picking up the stratagy guide when I get DOAU to hold me over for a few days. I plan to study every character's strengths, weaknesses, and pros and cons of every stage to arm myself for when this game is released, so I can kick some serious ass online.
