i dont know if it mean that we can buy it in the store itself and that we dont have to preorder it.but in the eb games website its said for instore pick up???

So each unit has an exclusive item. The Xbox Kollector edition has and An EB Games exclusive playable character—Scorpion. The PS2 Version has Serialized limited edition Sub-Zero metal trading card. Does this mean that Scorpion is only going to be on the Xbox Kollector edition?

i dont think.because scorpion is one of best and the must appreciate character in the mk franchise and if they dont put it in the ps2 versions that will suck and many scorpions fans(like me)will not buy the game.And midway is not gonna make this mistake

I believe you can choose. Check www.gamespot.com
Both are Sub. I believe that they showed it like that to show what two kinds there are.

scorpion is bound to be in both versions its only a box there will be no differences between the basic releases on both consoles (i think the xbox version will be slightly better!)
