What we know: There will be blood, bruising and brutal fighting. There will be finishing moves. 20-22 characters, most likely 10-11 from each side (seen in interviews and on X-Play). Stages from both universes (Pit and Gotham City are two I wanna see from the various universes). There will be a story mode, and the fighting engine was changed, with a modified Unreal 3 engine to work for fighting games. There will be Klose Kombat, where you pull your enemies up close *and camera zooms* to have some brutal fist fighting, with bruises, blood, and torn clothes, either can attack, or, if pulled in, defend yourself for the time its active. Also, Freefall Kombat, fighting while transition to keep or take the advantage of landing while doing damage.
Throws look more grand, like they go farther. The details of graphics, *at least, in HD trailer* look good, with combat and costumes. Four characters confirmed: Batman, Scorpion, Sub Zero, and Superman. Magic is involved somehow in the plot, explaining Superman's ability to be hurt. Coming out this fall for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.They're also pulling for a hard T. They're in talks with the ESRB to get to the line of M and take one step back, or what T really is *trying to include as much as possible*...*tries to catch breath*
Some of it is from previews/interviews, some is from observation. If I missed anything, please note. Thanks for your time.

Thanks, I felt that a lot of the issues people had in the game were in being misinformed. I also posted a more rough version on the hellish board that is Gamefaqs MK vs DC X360...lol, good luck.
And GameFaqs is hell if you wanna be serious.

Yeah, that's true. It seems a lot of people are ignorant of the facts, and probably will be so until they see it for themselves, which is kinda sad. But, that's life. I'm just hoping they can get some good matchups and pull off the fighting system to be awesome...or, at bare minimum, better than the other 3D MK fighting systems.

Add that there will not be stage fatalities and deathtraps.
Because I saw you wrote about the Pit.

Well, unless I'm mistaken Boon never confirmed or denied that they weren't in the game. He only said in that one interview that there wouldn't be any round ending stage finishers and that you'd have to actually beat ther person down to win.
You're probably right but I thought I'd bring up that technicality.

...Exactly. He says "We don't have stage fatalities where the round ends, so to speak. So you have to, you know, beat the guy to death this time and there's no kinda quick ways to do that."
That suggests no round-ending death traps. Will there still be stage finishers? Maybe, maybe not but what he says there doesn't say exactly one way or the other. Just no round-ending death traps.
As I said you are probably right and that they won't show up but there's nothing to indicate currently one way or the other.

You need to put this information in bullet format. Your paragraph style is too cramped and difficult for a quick read )which is exactly what one would want from a thread like this).
