I have mentioned this before in other people's threads and I have noticed some others sharing my sentiments on combos and throws. I love DA's gameplay but I wish that the combo was not totally guaranteed upon the first hit... Some parts of me think its kinda crappy that someone can do an entire 12 hit combo on you as long as they know the sequence and connect on the first hit (unless of course u hit the wall which allows blocking).... I really dont know of something to replace it with, perhaps only 4 hits are guaranteed, then the rest can be blocked as long as you do the correct block (high or low).... This also would encourage people to do more of the 3-4 hit combos that we overlook for higher damage combos, as well as more air juggle combos. I don't know its just my opinion... Also I think multiple throws per person and reversals that initiate throws would be nice... Throws from behind, and to the side of the opponent would be great too! OH, one final note... some people like Kung Lao and Shang had moves in which stunned the opponent. I know Nitara had at least one as well... I think that if the opponent is holding their eyes or dazed from these moves then they should be vulnerable for another single attack. Anyone else agree somewhat?

Definately. There's no strategy to a guaranteed off first hit combo. Why should I only do three or four hits when I can always do the nine or ten hits with no risk to me?

exactly tony! Thats what I always found myself saying. If I was playing a friend and it was close then I definately wasn't about to use a 4 hit when the 10 hit was open!

I think throws have sucked since day one in mortal kombat. Rethrow combos in corners, and scoring throws after juggles / stuns / combos is just the major sucks.

If there is a system that needs to be reworked that's the one.

I think the guaranteed combo system could work (there's plenty of games with dial-a-combos that work) so long as they put more effort into making the results of the combos more varied (so each one has it's own use) and put a LOT more effort into damage scaling. Some of the Neijin juggle garbage in DA was attrocious, especially when you throw characters with easy trap set ups and dirty stuns into the mix. (I'm talking to you mr Zero!)

Ya good point about the rethrow in corners. I forgot to mention that. Don't u find it a little annoying as I do that nearly every post on this site deals with people praying for their favorite character to return (I'm sick of the Shao Kahn, smoke, Rain, etc posts), yet so few people discuss issues that need some sort of remodeling like combos and throws. I am not flaming anyone but I just feel like important things such as these should be given more attention than which character makes the game! I'll love all the characters and I am always open to giving everyone a test run!

well, I think MK:DA needed to do a lot of "fan service" just to get us all back in the spirit of MK. MK 3,U,T,4, and G were all pretty much garbage from both a "gameplay" and "fanservice" standpoint outside of a couple clever fatalities here and there.

MK:DA basically made me actually want to watch and be associated with MK again, so hopefully MKD they'll put more effort into making it funner to actually play.
