Calm down, I think you are exaggerating on the number of these threads although there have been several there haven't been nearly as many of these threads as there have been super unlockable threads (which will hopefully stop now).

anyone know if Australia is getting the special collector pak

I don't really think much is known yet, which is pathetic considering the game is 20 days away or something. I'd say there's hope for a premium pack and such if other PAL countries have them, but I wouldn't hold my breath. In fact, i'm expecting no kollectors edition/premium pack at all.
And to Coffee Bean Carlos there, take it easy, there are far more of every other type of thread on this forum, go complain there, in one of those useless threads, but don't be a clown just because this doesn't pertain to you (which i'm assuming it doesn't judging by that last post).

Well ive asked around heaps of places for the kollectors edition and the special edition(theyre the same thing) but no1 seems to even know at the stores....
well theres less than 20 days for the game to come out and ive pre-ordered mine from EB and got $20 off.. so i got it for $79.95...
but if you can wait, wait about 3 - 6 months after the game comes out you can probably buy it under $50, thats what happened with Deadly Alliance but i doubt the same will happen with this game...
i dont think we'll be getting the kollectors edition anytime soon... it might come in later though.. for instance when unreal tournament 2004 came out in australia they didnt have the DVD disc for about 1 month after it came out, so i had to buy the "6 CD" version of it!
by the way not all EB have the $20 off deal but you wont lose anything from asking them.... PM me if you have any questions.

FYI it comes out 19th November. Get your facts straight first. On the ps2 website it says the 17th but my games store it getting it the 19th.

Pre ordering it from EB doesn't get you a discount. you might think you're paying less, but considering the preorder is 20 bucks, and the difference is 79.95, you're still paying full price my friend.
i've been hearing 4 different dates as many different places,
one place reckons its this friday (Nov 5), another reckons it's Nov 12, then another says 19, and i've also heard the 15th,
be great if its this friday, but i'd be betting on the 19th yet.
we should have had it already dammit :P

Every site that i've seen lists release as the 19th except Sanity, they've got it for release on 17th!! CD-WOW has it for release on the 22nd at only $69.95!!
i think i'll be going for that one or i could just wait and get it for $25 like i did with MK:DA . but 69.95 is still a great price for a new release game! for some odd reason the PS2 version is being released on Sunday 21?? work that one out??
I haven't seen anyone offering the special editions

I asked my local gamestore last week and they told me they will get the game on november 5th. And I live in a PAL country (the Netherlands). Also Isn't it true that midway first said it would be released on the 5th, then sites started posting that it will be released on the 19th and then midway posted on their website that it will be the 5th?
Anyway I hope to be playing the game this friday (I guess all the other PAL countries will get the game on that date too).

I was in Sydney city today and saw a bus that had both sides of the bus advertising MKD. The advertising was the entire length of the bus. It looked awesome.
It says that it is released Nov 19.
I haven't bought a game for about 6mths, so when did new games sell for $69.95? Or even $79? Arent' they normally $89 or $99 when a new release?

Yeah, you payed $20 to pre-order/reserve the game, then when it comes in you pay $79.95. Add those together mate, it's $99.95, which is the full cost of a game. You're not actually getting any kind of discount man :)

dude im seriously getting a discount... i payed $79.95 and the guy said you dont have to pay nothing else, the day it comes out you can just come and pik it up without paying anything :)
i can prove it man, if you live in Melbourne go to any EB store, tell them to ring up the northalnds shopping centre EB store and ask them if there is a $20 off the game if you pre-order it :)

yeah, it's $20 off if you preorder cause you have to pay $20 to actually preorder it. if you didn't, then someone at your EB didn't do their job right and probably got their ass kicked for it, while you got a bargain and if that's the case, man i'm gonna hate you

unfortunatly for me my friend, i've already preordered from my local EB, and thus payed the 20 bucks already. sure i could get that 20 back and head out to melbourne to score a nice deal like you did, buuuuuut it would cost me more in the long run, seeing how i'm in brisbane an all.

Ok as for the EB question, or concern? I went into the adelaide store, the sales guy confused the hell out of me with his pre order deal.........But what i understood was you pay $20 preorder and pay $59.00 when you pick it ip and s its 79 bucks.........a saving of 20bucks cause the original price is 99bucks.....
now i could be wrong......but i think it s right.......just double check......

dude kmart gets the games too late, unless theyre microsoft games like halo2, theyll get them in the first day...

Ok MK is out on the 19th officially.....not the 5th if it is then cool but the official release date for australia is the 19th
